They didn't come with any hardware when I ordered them. In addition, I have a Solar GC single gate control with a dual battery box. I ordered these in the spring and they didn't come with a bolt, which irritated me because hardware costs are already high enough without them. Let's hope the opener has a long career ahead of him.
The brackets are made to fit tubes ranging in size from 1-inch to 1-inch in diameter. These are available in diameters ranging from 5/8" to 2", so they should fit your gate as well as most other commercially produced tubular gates. br>br>We appreciate your interest in Ghost Controls and look forward to hearing from you.
When you install it, you'll be able to program the motor to stop in both the open and closed positions. We went ahead and installed a lock on ours because it faces west, which is where the majority of our weather originates. We were worried about straight line winds, which occur frequently in our area.
You may be able to use the brackets that come with the kit and bolt directly to the post depending on the design of the post, including the thickness of the tube walls; if that doesn't work, you'll have to get something custom because we don't have an adapter. br>br>We appreciate your interest in Ghost Controls and look forward to hearing from you.

These were required to secure the Ghost control arm to the tube gate. When tightening them, be careful because they began to smash the gate tube flat, and I was never able to get them tight enough to keep them from slipping. Because the brackets have holes along their curves, I decided to put self-tapping bolts through the holes and into the gate tube to keep it from slipping.
The Zombie Lock accessory could be attached using this method. My husband claimed that attaching it to our gate was relatively simple (he used a drill). Our gate is more secure as a result of it.
Thank you for pre-drilling the securing holes.
If you have a tubular gate, you'll need these for the gate opener. If you try to use bolts or anything else, the gate won't work very well because the bolts will go through the metal in the gate. To save time and aggravation, I recommend purchasing them. They were expensive, but I couldn't find them anywhere else for a lower price.
A tube farm gate isn't going to hold. They had to be welded in.
Each bracket, as well as my tubular gate, required a new hole to be drilled. No matter how tight I tightened the bolts (flattening the gate tubes), the bracket would shift, causing my perimeter to be thrown off, and I'd have to keep reprogramming it.
I clamped them to my brand-new gate, but I still needed to drill through it for a better fit. Mine came with all of the necessary hardware for mounting it to the gate.
It arrived quickly and was exactly what I was looking for.
