I recently added a MHCOZY 5V Relay Module to my system. You'll need to buy a soldering kit and use an extra remote, but it's worth it! Unfortunately, I haven't installed anything to detect whether your gate is open or closed, but for the time being, I can use my phone and Google Assistant to activate it! [:] Extremely convenient and simple [:]
This gate opener does not have the capability of stopping when it comes into contact with an object on the track. br>If you want to use an infrared sensor, you'll need to purchase one separately.
In the main unit, there are small switches that you can set to close automatically after 20, 45, or no time at all. The information was in the instructions, which I found.

To be honest, it's difficult to give a product a five-star rating because there are always issues, and you'll think this opener is a toy when you receive it. It's a very small space. Don't be put off by this. This tiny device is functional. I figured you'd get a lot less for your money than you would with the larger, more expensive big-name brands. Let me dive right in and tell you about the benefits as well as the challenges I faced in getting it to work. br>br>According to other reviews, the outdoor safety sensor is a must-have. This is the one I bought:
Seco- Larm E- 931- Indoor/Outdoor S35RRQ Enforcer
SECO- LARMbr>br>Why do you need a safety sensor? Because you need to ensure that the gate stops or retracts if something gets in the way. This tiny motor isn't joking; it's powerful enough to crush anything in its path, including children. The sensor was delivered with the following cables: black, grey, white, blue, and brown. I've included a photo to demonstrate how I wired it. *Please note that I am not a licensed electrician. At your own risk, tangle with the wire. This was effective for me. br>br>Without a safety sensor, the system will not function properly. If you decide to purchase this motor, the first thing you should do is read and familiarize yourself with the manual. Before I installed it, I connected everything to see how it would work. Limit switches are used in this system, and you should familiarize yourself with how they work. You have a top and bottom magnet, both of which are designed to stop the gate at the desired travel distance. You'll see what I mean if you try it out. In an enclosed waterproof 2 gang box, I also installed an on/off switch so that I can turn off the motor in the event of an emergency or if I just want the gate to stay open without closing automatically. This is preferable to unplugging your house's breaker.
For me, the setup went smoothly. br>It has a lot of power, so I'd put a beam sensor on it. I downloaded and installed v- A track was installed to keep the gate straight, and an old roller was replaced. I added my assistance with your installation to the pictures I took. br>Recent changes: br>I recently installed a mhcozy 2 channel wifi smart switch relay, which acts as an inching relay. In addition, I use the EWeLink app on my iPhone to control the gate.
The setup is very basic, despite the fact that the installations leave a lot of information out. It's simple to connect the electrical system. Pull the module out, unscrew the side screw, and insert the black wire into the "L" slot, the white wire into the "N" slot, and the green or ground wire into the "PE" slot on page 16 of the diagram. The motor is controlled by a key fob. br>br>As I get these installed, I'll post more videos on programming the key fobs.
br>5) It comes with an easy-to-use chain. br>6) It took me about 5 minutes to complete. We spent a total of 6 hours on the project. br>7) We drilled holes in the cement and inserted cement anchors, which worked perfectly. Extremely powerful. br>8) Remote workers operate from a great distance. br>9) Although my gate is on an incline, it functions flawlessly! br>10) The calibration of the magnets was the only issue we had. The instructions make no mention of the fact that they are actually different. (They appear to be the same person) We discovered that the magnets were not identical, so we flipped them over and they worked perfectly!.
Very powerful little motor. I installed it in 2 hours with a flux wire welder and included parts instead of nuts and bolts.
This gate opener was simple to set up and operates flawlessly on my 16-foot wood gate that I built myself. I had trouble setting up the sensors because of the poor instructions, but once I figured it out, it worked perfectly; I would have given it five stars if it had all of the features described. There is no pedestrian mode, which allows you to press a button and have the gate open a few feet before stopping. I can use the remote to open and close the gate a few feet, but that isn't part of the pedestrian mode. Unless you have four gate openers, the four-button remote is a waste of buttons. The buttons do not open, close, or stop as the description suggests; instead, they open, stop, and close with the same button, similar to a garage door opener. Finally, if the gate comes into contact with something, it simply continues to push. When I was adjusting my sensors, I damaged a section of my gate as a result of this. The motor continued to run, ripping the bracket off my gate and causing damage to the wood. So, if something stands in the way of the gate, it will be a fight to the death. A sensor can be added, but it is not included. I installed a wifi garage door opener switch so that I can open the gate with my phone, which is a convenient feature.
This book comes highly recommended. For the price, this is an excellent gate opener that is so quiet that you won't even notice it opening or closing. I'll admit that I was skeptical at first, but after creating my own custom mounts and brackets for the magnetic limiters and chain, I was blown away by the results. Although the instructions were a little difficult to follow, they provided a useful set of guidelines. Anyone with a sliding gate would benefit from this. It's simple and quick to add more key fobs. We have one for each of our four vehicles, as well as two spares in case something goes wrong.
