We bought the mats to cover the hard wood floors of our toddler's room. It was great to start with. Their design makes it difficult to tell they are even there, and they are thicker than most children's mats. This mat has only one problem the wood design is printed on a thin layer of plastic that can separate from the mat itself almost easily. As my son learns to peel off the plastic (and in a typical baby manner, it goes straight into his mouth), he now takes it directly to his mouth. Approximately three months later, the plastic started peeling a little bit here and there, with a bubble forming in the middle. You can see a picture of how the mats look now by clicking here.

It took me a long time to find the solution that would work best for my needs, and this is it. The purpose was to cover an 8x10 concrete area in the garage with a material that would soften the surface enough for dancing but not be too spongy and still look nice. At least it has done its job so far. In some reviews of similar products, there was a noticeable peeling of the wood grain print. As soon as such a thing happens on this product, I will update this review. There are no apparent problems with the product. There is a bad chemical smell, which is the reason why I didn't give it a full 5 stars. I'm hoping with time it will come to an end. My hands felt like they were greasy after putting it together from the fumes (could be a delusion from the fumes though washed them anyway. Since this is the case, I would not recommend this flooring type for children's rooms. There are several things I need to clean on the surface and I hope the offgassing does not slowly kill Except for that, I enjoy my new dance studio very much. I forgot to mention there were a lot of end pieces overflowing into the box. The fact that there were specific dimensions ordered seems a bit.

In the beginning, it looked as though it would be a perfect spot for my kids to play on our otherwise cold basement floor. I was disappointed to discover it had discolored within 90 days due to the natural sunlight that came in. Due to the fact that I purchased this design specifically because of its appearance over a more plain tile set, I felt it was best to take some pictures and leave a review for future customers. Here are pictures of the installation 5 months after it was completed. When you see the picture with the flooring in good shape, it is up against the wall, where no light falls on It's a yellowed fabric with pink seams on the rest. A room with no windows would be the only place this flooring would be recommended.

We love the quality and comfort of the I've been using it in my boys' playroom and I'm very proud of it! Our basement has a concrete floor and we used this on a spot of the floor to give it a beautiful and comfortable finish. There are now more play areas for the kids in the basement, which makes it feel like a more finished room. This is the easiest room makeover you've ever seen.

I like these tiles a lot. It has been almost a year since we bought them. As soon as our baby began walking and was 10 months old, we decided to convert our formal dining room into a playroom. As long as she fell on this floor, I was not concerned about her injury, and I was able to watch her crawl and walk on it a few times until she became proficient. As it is a smooth surface, it was easier for bare feet to avoid falling. Other reviewers commented that these rules discolor over time. I was ok with that since we were going to use them for a playroom rather than a formal one. Several months after the puzzle pieces were finished, the edges began to change color, and almost immediately the rest of the surface began to deteriorate. The attached photo show a blanket that I placed at a corner and left there for months without getting affected by the sun's rays. It is even worse when the tiles are exposed to direct sunlight. Our experience has been that these tiles are very good business value for what we wanted them for compared to other extremely expensive options for playrooms. I would not recommend them for anything other than kids' playrooms and workout spaces.

It is going to be used as a cushioned floor for our RV. (I used an Exacto knife with a new blade) It was easy to lay down and easy to cut to fit around things. We can also benefit from this by making our motorhome a bit quieter while driving and very comfortable to drive in and The pattern is really appealing to us, and the dogs like sleeping on it too. Make sure that your dog's nails are trimmed if he is a big (100 lbs) dog, otherwise he will leave small holes in the Since I always assumed that these tiles were not designed for large dogs or intended to be placed on a floor for large dogs, I was not surprised by this finding.

Warmth and quietness are maintained in the room. Things like tables and chairs put huge dents in the floor and the flooring will not return to its original state. You'll also need to buy sliding discs for chairs so that their weight can be evenly distributed and your floors won't be torn. My basement is warmer, quieter, and safer for my kids and my elderly father with the heater on. It was one of the simplest installations in the world and it was easy to cut the material to size if necessary. Since they do not have a 1" option, I wish they did, but other than that I am very pleased with this click-together foam floor and everyone is constantly impressed when they enter my basement and don't even realize it's a click-together Ours are cut to a size that will allow high heels and some shoes to pass through, so we wear slippers with them.
