It was easy for me to cut squares to the right size and shape in the case where the edge shape wasn't quite right or the length wasn't quite right at the end. Since they fit so perfectly together, it is impossible to see any seams, and the flooring looks like hardwood. It is frustrating to have to cut them because they are hard to cut. You should also make sure they stay flat, as they will become unusable after the first few hours. I found them to be perfect for my studio and they seemed up to the task.

I found installing this quick and easy. It took some patience, but I was able to interlock pieces of flooring to the point where the seams disappeared. In our bonus room located above the garage that we heat and cool only when needed, we replaced our carpet with this flooring. It was necessary for me to use more cushioning for my joints when I worked out ( cardio kickboxing, step workouts, high/low impact, weights, etc. ). There is no denying that this is easier on the body, but it may take a few weeks for the body to adjust to it. It caused instability in the feet and ankles at first because of the soft foam. It is easy for it to be damaged, which is something I did not expect. On the floor at the beginning of the first photo, I had placed an 8-pound weight and picked it up the next day, which caused part of the finish to peel off. This was likely due to the hot and humid weather I was experiencing in July and the air conditioner not being however not a good choice for rooms where the overall aesthetic look is important.
