Questions & Answers

Do you know whether this would work on a plastic car carrier made of these black plastics? I want to remove the pin stripe that is on it. It was painted.?

Thank you for the question, Jeffery. *br>We don't recommend using the Whizzy Wheel on plastic surfaces because it will damage them. While the Whizzy Wheel can be beneficial when using it on painted metal or glass surfaces, it cannot be guaranteed on plastic. However, the Whizzy Plastic Blade can also be used. The roller is not as fast as the Whizzy Whel, but it will not harm the plastic surface. The Amazon website. Is one wheel able to cover a certain area?

In my experience, they last surprisingly long. I had one remove double sided adhesive from the hull of a boat in a strip measuring 5 inches by 6 feet with about 1/3 of its

Could we still be successful if we only got the decals off but not the glue residue? The RV is in the middle of a wilderness area. ?

My friend Diane, I bought a couple of these to remove the old decal from a trailer. She said it removed 99% of the glue and the decal. As far as I am concerned, it would remove the glue, well, at least most of it.

Do you think this would work on an alumninum motorcycle swingarm polished to a mirror shine?

Thank you for your inquiry, Silverado. *br> *br>The Whizzy Wheel will be able to remove the decal on the swing arm, though as the Swimgarm is polished, the shine may be affected. * The Whizzy Wheel was designed to remove decals by friction because it is made of a soft rubber and the surface applying some friction. If this is used on a painted car surface, it does not matter. However, using it on a polished aluminum surface might result in the area where the sticker is removed being For your first trial, I recommend you try in a discrete area to see how it looks and then if you are satisfied, you may need to apply some cut and polish afterwards to ensure the whole surface has the same shine.

It lasts only a short time and is very expensive I used 30 of them, but only one didn't burn my clear coat
3/5

In front of me is the worst job of my life This was an old vehicle wrap that went bad after six months, but we left it on for 8+ years on a white 2011 Toyota Sienna (I know, Getting a vehicle wrap doesn't have to cost $3k every two or three years if you can't afford it. I now understand what you mean). The condition of this vehicle is so poor that no detailer would touch it and no vehicle wrap guy would work on it If I weren't buying another wrap from him, I might have been profiting from the transaction and also covered for any mistakes (at least I hope so). My product trial ended up being a sort of product trial to get rid of that cracked, crumbling wrap. In partnership with Whizzy Wheels, I purchased the Whizzy Wheels with fins (this product. In addition, I bought a variable-speed electric drill for this specific purpose with an RPM that was within a range recommended for these wheel removers. The info and links to videos I received were all very helpful. I followed the instructions and techniques. I am generally handy and could repair or build most things I needed. Below are the details of what took place. Here they are 1) Whizzy Wheel with Fins Among the three, it produced the least amount of heat and was the softest. Because of this, this wheel probably broke down 2 or 3X as fast. Ultimately, it required moderate pressure to cut through the old hardened cracked wrap in the first place. It did not damage or burn the clearcoat, however, when it happened. There was a lot of wheel chewing going on, but the results were as Runner's Wheel 2) My work on this one was much more time consuming, but it cut through the crap faster, but I had to exert a great deal of effort to keep it In the end, this was a failure Hold onto any one spot for too long, and I burned my paint (probably the clearcoat) with the minimum pressure required to work. Three) Look alike to World War II- BROWN BURNS WERE IMPLEMENTED ON MY PAINTING RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY HOOD AS A RESULT OF THE MINIMUM PRESSURE NEEDED TO REMOVE THE VINYL. Damage was caused by simply touching the paint with the wheel. Because of this, I feel like I must have this panel painted again. The only good thing about the plastic razor blade scraper is that it is useful. I am sorry to have to send that back, too. Having tried several different ones, the only one that worked without damaging my vehicle was the one In the end, it has become more unaffordable for this project to survive. WWWF costs twice as much as the others, and doesn't last In that case, what do I have the choice? But for this minivan, I will gobble up 4 at a time. This is a set of 6.

Other products didn't work where it did

Yesterday it was delivered and I immediately got to work on it. The 1996 watercraft I am reconditioning are both from the early 1990s. The old faded decal I wanted to remove had been damaged or faded so I tried several other methods. In the past, I've used plastic razor blades, plastic scrappers, and Goof Off, but they have not been successful. Having watched a video on it and seen it had reasonably decent reviews, I thought why not give it a try. As a whole, this product saved me time and effort while performing a task that none of my other methods were able to achieve. The pros include The *br*- Does exactly what it says it will do-- The drill attachment can easily be attached to any power drill
The decals are actually removed, even the hard to remove ones - The good easy to use the bad The *br*- However, there are some situations in which it does not require as much effort. I had to exert considerable elbow grease to remove these 20-plus year old decals
. Of course, nothing else would have worked. That doesn't mean that it is a Con. Hence it is a warning to you that you may have to put some effort into it*- My wheel only lasted for half of my project, recognizing that most jobs are not going to involve decals that are over 20 years old. There are four decals on each of my watercraft that I would like to remove (total It was only possible to take off four decals, and I still have four to remove. Although there is a little bit of working wheel left on this product, there is not enough to complete the project. At roughly 22 dollars, that means it cost me a little over 5 dollars per sticker. The system did, however, save both time and effort. As a result, I may end up having to buy another one. Because I had never used this product before, I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of effectiveness or cleaning. There is a lot of wheel and decal dust and particles in this product. If you are going to be working in a contaminated area, make sure you can clean it afterwards. It is also advisable that you wear eye protection and a mask, preferably one that can be thrown away. If I ever need to buy it again, I would not hesitate to do so.
