The shank size and type of bit you use with your hammer drill will determine whether or not you can use it. There are various types of chisels made by the American Hardware Company, but this special chisel The shank is the standard size for this type of bit, which is 401". The electric hammer drill you have could use a type called SDS or SDS+, but there are other types of shanks as well. A groove is cut into the shank of these bits, which are locked into the chuck with The bit shaft is attached in a different way than the standard straight Therefore, even if the wrong type of bit will fit into the tool, it should never be used as it has a high possibility of coming loose and causing injury as well as It is recommended that you consult your instruction manual or conduct a Google search to find out what bit to use for your particular I think that American Hardware bits/chisels are quite well made. If they offer a line of bits that work with your drill, I believe you will have a reasonable experience with them.

It took me a long time using other methods and I finally decided to order this tool to clear 65 square feet. My compressor would have kept up if it could have run faster. I finished in less than an hour.
With the floor scraper that I have, I can cover a larger area. As I am currently working out of my home office, my wife wanted to get started removing the tile in the bathroom. However, the larger floor scraper is too heavy for her. Nonetheless, it still works with the smaller pneumatic chisel and 3" bit. She loves the tile. She just blew right through it in no time. Insisted on doing this review even after I told them I'd done it. You guys did a great job with that piece! You will have a happy life if you are married to a happy person!.
The machine did a great job, and performed exactly as we hoped. To get the job done, we spent about eight hours in total. Don't forget to wear safety glasses and a hearing protector. Thanks so much! I am extremely happy with it.
Despite considering the tool to be made of good quality steel, I was disappointed when it didn't have a sharp edge. This 3" chisel wasn't wide enough to finish the job. I had to use a tool that was 1-inch wide. The sharpening will have to be done by me.
For removing the tiles and mortar, the method worked great. Although I had to sharpen the edge about every fifteen minutes, other than that, it was a great help and made the removal much easier than if I had done.
An air hammer should be able to handle it. So I cannot comment on the durability because I haven't used the product too often yet. When I rip up the tile, I get the results I need.
Manually removing tile and mortar with a sledge hammer and pry bar will never be a thing I do In the time it took me to do a whole bathroom, I did it.
I have not had any trouble with this chisel as I have with other ones Even though this one has been going for a long time, I am still counting on it. Funniest thing I have ever seen The pink bunny is not exactly like that.
