It seems to me that it would be an excellent solution. Used for stickers on glass windows and on the bodywork of a car, as well as for bumpers. Is your aluminum horse trailer painted in a way that will ensure its safety? Other than that, I'm sure if you use this with too much force, you'll damage the paint or strip it.

For the most part, the wheel did a good job removing the long decals on both sides of the boat except when it got rounded and couldn't reach the recessed edges. Due to a design flaw in the product, the rating was lowered. In addition to having a well-designed 1" threded end, this wheel also comes with a short mounting shaft that connects to In this case, the screw stub and drilling mount shaft are not locked together, which causes the drilling wheel to spin off the shaft when you stop the drill. With a strong lock washer, I was able to resolve the problem after numerous spin offs. You can stop the spin off if you're attentive by holding the wheel against the work surface until it stops, which I did several times in the past, but I forgot just enough to cause aggravation. I would think that a single shaft connecting the wheel to the drill would suffice, unless I'm mistaken. In terms of decal removal, the wheel did a good job except for the aforementioned but be prepared for a messy operation, glasses and mask definitely necessary. These decals resisted chemical removal as well as heat. However, the wheel had no trouble removing them.
A total of three eraser wheels have been purchased. In the first place, Amazon's recommended pick costs $9, in the second, 3M's version costs $33, and in the third, this version costs I first tried this method, but it took a lot of energy, pressure, and battery charge to get it to work. 3M's product failed to deliver the results that it promised. As soon as I opened the package, the product worked well. In the event that I had started with this product, I would not have had to purchase the other two. A 5 out of 5 star rating for being the best out of three.
The motive for my purchase was to remove the decals from the pontoon rails and the My first try was stripper ( not productive) and my second attempt was a wire wheel ( it removed the paint as well but worked This method seemed to work the best (on aluminum panels). You just heat the backside of the panel and pull it off this method worked best. After removing the residue of adhesive with lacquer thinner, some adhesive remained. As far as I am concerned, it worked just fine on my out board. Removed the decals and left the paint intact.
Getting rid of nearly ten decals and bumper stickers off of my daughter's car took me a little more than 15 minutes. I had no problems with it, and it is barely worn. If you are new to this technique, I suggest starting on glass surfaces to get a sense of the device and then moving to painted surfaces with stickers. However, the car is already 15+ years old — so take that into consideration!.
It is best if your paint is still in good shape and whatever you are removing is not very old. It did not work quite as well on a very old and crusty paint job, but it still might serve a purpose.
After removing the adhesive and residue, I removed the glue. was the first time I had ever done this, so here is what I learned. My drill was set to the lowest speed on my cordless electric drill. My truck was slammed into the ground by the material as I attempted to get it off the ground. Beginning with light pressure, I built up to greater Not a thing. There was definitely a need for more effort. It did not harm the paint at all. Afterward, I rubbed Goo Gone into the surface and polished it. It came out perfectly.
I was working on an 85 Jeep CJ7 and I removed some old decals the old-fashioned This item arrived in the mail and I removed all of the rest of them in one day (very old, cracked, dried). I really like it.
In spite of that, scraping them off by hand and potentially damaging the paint is much easier than this.
