In the end, I purchased 3 different versions of the product. Three of the best options are 3M Stripe Off Wheel (expensive), ABN Rubber Eraser Wheel 4in Pad and It's an adapter. Having to remove sun-baked 2 that had been on the ground for 10 years was a bear The vinyl letters were applied to the hull of a fiberglass A new name will be given to the boat (I am changing the name). It took about six letters to complete each The tallest person is 8 inches high. It was quite obvious that the layer directly on top of the fiberglass, when exposed to the sun, had split and cracked. As the 2nd layer was stacked on top of the first layer, it was not cracking but it was fairly baked. There was no difference in the removal of both layers of lettering between the three wheels. It was however the 3M wheel that left the most streaking and smearing of the Second place was taken by the ABN one, but it suffered from a lot of wear (like when you use a rubber eraser to erase pencil). Compared with the rubber in this product, it seemed to be a bit harder, yet still not hard enough to cause damage to The design of the squares was also more aggressive for removing vinyl due to the spaces between them. A very small amount of streaking was left behind. There is a ghost of the former name "Audacious" in the fiberglass, but it has been completely removed from the vessel. The lettering was removed over the course of 90 minutes.
I was skeptical that it might scratch or swirl my paint, but it does not! Having spent so much time trying to remove the adhesive other ways, I was blown away by how easy it was to remove all the adhesive and that it took at most 5 minutes! I would buy it again without a second thought!.
The motor ran for about 2 seconds before failing at the screw and starting to spin.
While I used it to get rid of stubborn boat hull numbers, I can actually see a stain on the gelcoat as a result. Most likely user error since I pressed more forcefully than I should have. I recommend with caution the amount of pressure and application time in one spot while applying It is best not to enable the area to gain too much friction and heat, as this may cause the white gelcoat to yellow. Having done this I would not have been able to remove stickers without further damage or damage to my computer. For the goo to be removed after the stickers have been removed, I recommend Maguires wax cleaner.
This was the best 10 dollars I spent in a long time. A rubber wheel, like an eraser on a pencil, wears away over time you may need more than one depending on the size of the job.
It is impossible to use battery powered drills for large decals since the battery runs down so quickly. Nevertheless, the eraser disc in question is completely functional. On my truck, I removed a decal that covered the entire hood. Painted it, and it didn't harm it. You should not allow the drill to exceed 3000 revolutions per minute. In this case, you run the risk of burning the paint. Furthermore, you should not attempt to remove a decal that is on plastic such as the fenders on some A disaster is just around the corner. I ripped a decal and paint off of a plastic decal when I removed it from the plastic! If you are using an eraser disc, the disc should work on metal or glass without a problem.
The battery operated drill that removed the paint here (on slow) was the same one! It removed the decals faster than it could have removed them! If you plan on buying this, you may regret it, as I now regret it.
My paint did not suffer any damage from this and it was easy to clean off. It is important that you allow the eraser to cool before you use it, otherwise it will become With my 20Volt battery, I was able to The drill that is battery operated worked better than a drill that runs off a cord. The paint does leave a bit of a mess, but it mostly comes off with a little bit of elbow grease, I used a buffer and a little bit of shine remover to remove any tacky spots left. These are the things which make me stand out Quite fast, this product works great, the price is reasonable, and there was no paint damage. The product is excellent and I will definitely buy it.
