I think this product will get four stars for people who use these for removing decals from cars or other metal surfaces. I would guess this will get four stars when used on cars or other metal surfaces. In order to speed up the process of removing small vinyl letters from painted walls, I needed to use these items. As part of my job at a museum, I use these wheels to remove essays between exhibit flips. There are thousands of letters (in several languages). Using our drills, we found that we needed to set them at '1' (slow) as when it was placed at '2', the wheel would abrade the wall and leave it smooth, which would show up after Moreover, we found out that it burned through wheels a bit faster than we expected. One wheel was nearly used up removing an essay that was 16 feet wide and 6 foot tall (in small print). you with a ton of eraser dust, so be sure to put down some plastic to catch it and any vinyl bits you end up letting go of. I did it to remove vinyl from interior walls. Though it erodes a bit quickly, and it makes a mess, it does get vinyl off more quickly than chopping each letter off individually.

The product is worth every penny! I called a car detailing place and they told me the price for removal starts was to use light pressure, if I pushed too hard it became less effective. Using both wheels was a big help, the larger one on the main body and window, the solid one on grooves and corners made an expensive job a lot cheaper. No paint had to be removed from the decals because it was easily removed. My van is white and the decals are very dark, so I was worried that residue would appear. The adhesion was difficult to remove, but I used a citrus cleaner and it was easily removed. A drop cloth would make cleaning up the wheel residue and sticker pieces much easier. (I will do this the next time I clean up). Also I would wear a pair of goggles and a breathing mask. I have some basic hospital masks. The residue on the decals was fine and I don't know what they This is a wonderful product! I highly recommend it!.
