Decal Adhesive Remover, GOH DODD 4 Inch Eraser Rubber Wheel Car Trunk Sticker Remover with Polishing Pad Wool Buffing Pad and Plastic Razor Blades, 12 Pieces

I found this to be very slow and tedious, however. I decided to try these decal erasers after using the first method for six hours and having about a third of the decal left. A combo pack was chosen. We started with the wheel with teeth that was wider and were pleasantly surprised with the results! I removed the decal and almost all the adhesive at the same time, but the wheel wore out just as I was finishing. The thin smooth wheel is used at the end. In terms of speed, that wheel removed the decal much faster, but when the final clean up was done, the gel coat appeared burned and discolored. There is nothing severe, but there is definitely some visible damage. Attached is a picture of what has been damaged. Located in the upper left corner of the space where the decal used to be. After the first wheel was removed, it left only a slight residue which was easily removed with My conclusion is that, for a job like mine, you need the wheel with the teeth. For the size of the decal I had, four wheels would, in my estimation, be required to do the job. Saving myself the time that I originally wasted has been worth the price. I gave this product a 4 star rating because of the damage it caused, but the performance is great!.

Take advantage of the warm weather to do it. Like a giant rubber eraser you might have used as a kid with pen and paper, this rubber wheel is like a giant rubber eraser. The device generates rubber shavings by friction, similar to how a rubber eraser works. It is attached to the hand drill like a drill bit and spins like a drill bit. On the pop-top to my VW Vanagon camper, where the previous owners stuck travel stickers over the past 30 years, I used it to remove those stickers. Then, after peeling off the stickers with a plastic razor blade (which is also available on Amazon), I used this wheel and a GooGone adhesive remover to remove the residue. Over the years of baking in the sun, most stickers had degraded, making it impossible to remove them with the plastic razor blade. Rubber wheels were the only means of removing some stickers. As a result, this project was done here in Portland, Maine in springtime over several days. I removed about 45 stickers in all and only used a small portion of one wheel's It's impossible for me to imagine how the second wheel would be useful. Moreover, I noticed better results when the weather was warm and sunny as opposed to when it was cold and overcast. This review might be useful if you want to remove stubborn stickers and adhesive. My overall impression of the product is positive. It removed 20-percent of the fat from my thighs. In the process of breaking down, the rubber material takes away the adhesive. Because of the large amount of friction resistance, it is quite difficult to hold the drill and keep the rubber wheel in the right place. The process is not hard to figure out once you get your head around it. While this method makes a mess, the car is clean when it's done. When I used the solid wheel, I had more luck than when I used Use one of the above types of cleaners on paintless plastic panels like mirrors and In addition to removing the paint, it strips the car as well.

There were 12" by 20" decals attached to the boat, and they stuck well. At first, I tried a razor blade and solvent, but that took a very long time. After ordering it, I tried it and it proved to be extremely helpful. To power the wheels, I used my cordless 18V drill. You will get a lot more done with these if you are fast. By pressing too hard, you will overheat your drill and run out of batteries in a short period. In my experience, I found that high speed and moderate or light pressure worked best when my drill ran Make sure that the drill's vents are not covered. In total, it took six batteries for both sides of the boat to be fully charged. There was a decal on each side. Using a heavy duty corded drill will probably be easiest. Adding a couple of drops of blue Loctite to the mandrill will also help if the wheel starts to peel off when you stop the drill My recommendation is definitely to try it.

I resisted buying the 3M because I didn't want to pay the price. You will receive two wheels in this kit as well as other items included in it. Keeping everything organized is also possible with a small plastic box. You can get all of this for less than I immediately started using this kit as soon as I received In my opinion, it was more than I expected. Although I have not tried it, it is not fair to claim that is is better than 3M. However, after using this product I am totally satisfied with it.

A friend of mine bought it for me so that I could remove the double sided tape from the vent shades I had installed on her It was necessary to remove the plastic remnants and the adhesive tape from the broken vent shades. With the plastic scraper, I utilized the broken pieces of plastic to remove them, and then I used the wheel and adhesive glue remover to clear out the double sided tape easily. After that, I was able to use polishing compound and a buffing pad to give my project a shine.

So you can see how sun baked it is after 19 years. It is a nice kit, but it is completely useless after about 45 minutes when I gave up using the erasers. To remove it, I had to scrape the goo gone stuff off with a scraper. As it was an old decal, it may have been an anomaly from other reviews.

Actually, the program did not perform as it promised. This would help speed up the process of removing lettering and pin stripes, which we have been doing for years. Removing items through good old fashion is quicker and easier. In addition, it spins off the tool used in the same direction whether you turn the wheel in one direction or the other. There is no point in me buying another useless tool for the shelf just because it is a gimmick.
