As soon as I bought the Mustang GT with terrible stripes and decals, I thought a long and hard time over how to get rid of them. A few years ago, I had quite the nightmare of removing stripes from a car. Using my fingers I could not take the stickers off since they had been baked. The stripes might be fairly new, so it might be feasible to heat up the material and peel it off as a whole or to use scraper to remove the stripes.
