Yes. These are exactly how they appear in the photo. This item is sold in a set of two. They're very nice, and they're surprisingly light. I have a 20" aluminum plank, but I've only used two 2X10s side by side on it and it's worked fine. You should be able to clamp an aluminum plank to the jack if you're using one. I didn't use a clamp because I wanted the planks to lay flat. A folding Werner ladder with square rungs is one of the ladders I own. A Keller extension with round rungs is the other. The very top (hook?). The jack's head has a hole and is equipped with a bolt and nut. The bolt goes through the top hook and under the ladder rung after the jack is hung on the ladder, and the nut goes on the bolt to help secure the jack. On the Werner ladder, I was unable to use that bolt. However, it worked flawlessly on the Keller. The fact that the bolt didn't fit through the top hook didn't bother me. It simply struck me as odd. Especially since Werner is involved in both of the items. Hopefully, this has answered all of your concerns.
Never in your life, not 2"x6" - I would say. x 10'. Neither are wood planks. These things are terrible, and I'm not the best handyman in the world. I didn't even paint the house with them. Incorrect instructions were given.

So far, it's working well, but more adjustment positions for use in "abnormal" situations, such as working around bushes, would be nice. We threw out a lot of the assembly hardware and just used nuts instead. The nuts were "oval" for some reason, so I used hardware store bolts. As a result, they acted as lock nuts, and one of the bolts snapped during assembly. In any case, better hardware makes you happier. Overall, this is an excellent product.
These have a lot of potential. Exceptionally strong and light. The weight is surprisingly light. On a Werner folding ladder and a Keller extension ladder, it's no problem at all. The fact that I could walk on two 2x10s side by side was the best part for me. The clamp that holds the aluminum plank in place can be removed. The 2x10's can now be laid flat. Sleeve, there's a bolt that goes through the top rung. It keeps the jack from lifting off the rungs of the ladder, for lack of a better word. I couldn't use it on the Werner folding ladder with square rungs, which was a surprise. The rung was obstructing my progress. On the Keller ladder with round rungs, however, it was no problem.
Wider walk boards (mine are 20 inches) work well with this ladder jack. They can move in front of or behind your ladder with ease. It's worth noting that putting the ladder jacks behind the ladder allows you to climb up and walk on the walk board.
It was extremely durable.
Solid brace, far superior to the two-rung brace.
Working on the roof overhang in the back of the house. You'll save a lot of time because you won't have to move ladders every 5 feet. Wing nuts are extremely tight, so removing the scaffolding plank was a breeze. The ladder jacks are fantastic, and I would recommend them to anyone.
safe.
This is a solid set; I'm not a light person, but this set did exactly what it was supposed to do: it kept me up high and dry.
