It's so nice to come across a product that lives up to its advertising and my expectations. Very well-made, with high-quality materials on display. It includes everything you'll need to attach it to almost any ladder. And I was blown away by how well it worked once I installed it. Extending and retracting it is a breeze, and it's rock solid. It'll almost certainly save your life. (There aren't many flat spots for a ladder in my yard because of the slopes and bumps. ) )br>br>Gone are the days when I had to wedge a board, brick, or rock under my ladder's short leg. br>br>I liked it so much on my Little Giant ladder that I bought another set of base units to use on my larger Werner extension ladder. br>br>Really, just go ahead and buy it. I'm sure you'll be grateful.

This complete Ladder Leveler Set (including the leveler) is a fantastic product that comes with all of the necessary mounting hardware and easily qualifies for a 5 star rating in my opinion. Excellent product quality, safety, and functionality, as well as excellent design engineering. Yes, they increase the weight of the ladder by a couple of pounds. But when you're 30 feet up and don't feel like you're relying on some jerry-rigged system, It's clear that the designers made the right decisions when it comes to rigging support. I was so impressed with this set that I ordered a "Base Kit" (which includes everything except the leveler) to outfit a second ladder. The ability to transfer the leveler part from one ladder to another is a useful cost-cutting feature. Although, if I were a contractor, I would have gladly purchased a second full set if I needed multiple ladders at the same time. br>I want to emphasize that this set included ALL of the necessary mounting hardware (bolts, spacers, washers, and nylock nuts) for the bases to be installed. The reviewer who docked two stars for a lack of HW must have received an "open box" that was missing the (high-quality) HW. I agree with one reviewer who stated that these items should include an illustrated parts list so that a buyer can KNOW if everything is present when the box is opened. There is no indication in the instructions how many of each HW part should be included.

I was taken aback by the cost of this setup; it seemed excessive for such a basic device to me, but I'm cheap. I had no choice but to purchase this kit because I needed to access the chimney area from another roof. I mounted it on a 20' aluminum Davidson ladder. Drilling some large holes in your ladder is required for installation, but it only took me 20 minutes to align the parts, drill the holes, and bolt the brackets to the ladder. It was quite stable and easy to adjust on a double roof pitch, but it added a significant amount of weight to the ladder, perhaps 10 pounds. It's not something I'll use on a regular basis, but it's handy when you need it. The design is well-thought-out and made of solid aluminum. Nice kit! To adjust a security camera, repair a vinyl siding piece, or simply get on the roof, it used to be a battle to get the ladder just right. One stabilizer is included in this kit, which can be used on either side depending on your needs. Because I was putting them on a "Little Giant" type of ladder, I had to do some figuring before installing them. Because of the ladder bracing, I had to make sure that both ends of the bolt were easily accessible so that I could secure them with a nut and washer. The pieces appear to be well-made, and nothing felt wobbly after a few uses with the stabilizer. Using only your foot, you can easily adjust the height. This is something I really enjoy. I'm going to buy an extra slide stabilizer so I don't have to switch it to the other side every time I need it.

I needed to fix a window on the side of my house that was on the second floor. Because the ground in front of my house slopes down from front to back, I needed something to level my 32-foot aluminum ladder when I set it up on the side. I saw this product on Amazon and decided to give it a try after reading the positive reviews. It isn't inexpensive, but it is effective. It took me about 45 minutes to put it up on the ladder (the instructions were simple). The ladder leveled out perfectly and was extremely steady as soon as I set it up and stepped down on the foot pin on the Ladder Leveler.

I like how it looks and how simple it is to put together. Very solid and safe. One measurement, however, was never mentioned in relation to my use. Measure the landing of each step as well as the width of the ladder you're installing on when it comes to stairs. This device will not work if you need to skip a step (left foot on step, skip step, right on next) because of the width of the ladder. br>br>I have a few ladders, but none of them would be suitable for this application. A 10x10 block of wood came in handy.

The Leveler is very effective and simple to set up. Make sure you watch the YouTube video they mention and take their advice. The leveler itself works well and is simple to use, making the ladder feel more stable than it would be if you used boards or something else. My only criticism is that the holders on each side of the ladder are installed using the supplied shims. Super glue is required for these shims. The supplied tube is wrapped in plastic and is loose in the packaging, which allows it to deform and leak when opened. I did discover that Vaseline can be removed from your fingers with a little effort.
