This product was made in Mexico, but the most recent shipment we received was from Werner Ladder Company in China.
I'm not sure off the top of my head; it's a matter of discretion.
Yes. You have to make some cuts. Completely remove the top rung. The holes will be covered up by the new assembly. Then, on each side, drill four holes for the bolts to go through.
We bolted it to the 24' and had to re-bolt it. Drill one hole that isn't parallel to the others. It functions admirably.

Stanza 1br>The Hangman arrived in our town, smelling of gold, blood, and fire. And he was pacing our bricks with a cautious demeanor. So, out of respect for his hangman's cloak, we let him pass and no one spoke. br>br>Stanza 2br>The sun shone brightly the next day on our quiet town's roofs and streets, and the gallows stood stark and black in the early morning air. On the courthouse square, there is a tree. br>br>And the Hangman was there, with the yellow hemp in his busy hand, his buckshot eye, his jaw like a pike, and his air of knowingness and businesslikeness. br>br>And we cried: "Hangman, didn't you finish the alien one yesterday?" " "br>br>As he looked at us, he laughed: "br>br> "Did you think I'd gone to such lengths to hang just one man?" When the rope is new, I do something similar to stretch it. " The gallows grew to monstrous heights day after day, night after night. br>br>The scaffold's wings spread out to cover the square from side to side, and the monster crossed the square from side to side. The town was bathed in the shadow of a beam looking down. The Hangman then came through town, calling my name in the empty streets - br>br>Stanza 4br> I thought to myself as I gazed up at the towering gallows: "There is no one left for hanging, so he approaches me and asks me to assist him in lowering the gallows- tree. My wife and I own a small business, and every job requires me to go up on the roof. I was looking for a ladder stabilizer. It can be difficult to maneuver an extension ladder in some places, and the space required for the size of a standard stabilizer is not always available. Also, access may be around a corner or simply inconvenient, and there's the risk of going 30 feet up a ladder with no support at the top. Plus, I didn't want these massive "horns" protruding from the top of my cargo van wherever I went. So, rather than buying two separate attachments and possibly having to remove one to use the other, the combination of the angled rest and hooks was EXACTLY what I needed. The hooks can be easily stowed away and are extremely simple to use. They also fold up for easy storage. All of the necessary hardware and brackets were included, as well as comprehensive instructions. I did deviate slightly from the instructions, but only because I didn't want to cut off a rung. I was able to make it work, and it is extremely durable. And I am in no way advising you to disregard the manufacturer's instructions. I'm clearly stating that I used it to my advantage with my specific ladder (Werner) and am extremely pleased with the end result. Thank you for reading!.
I have a Louisville ladder that is built in the same way as the Warner ladder for which the product was designed. It fits perfectly, with the exception of the top rung, which should be cut off according to the instructions. This isn't the most straightforward task. An oscillating tool with a carbide tip blade, on the other hand, performed admirably. It's almost certainly superior to the instructions' hacksaw and punch method. After that, you put a metal plate over the hole you just made and fasten it together with the supplied bolts. You'll need a 13/64 drill bit to drill the remaining 8 holes.
This hooks were ordered for my new 24ft green ladder, which is a little giant. I gave it five stars because it is appropriate. It's simple to install, but you'll need some special tools.
Regrettably, the ladder had to be modified in order to be installed. There is no compatibility list, and I bought these for a standard Werner ladder (the most common model), which required drilling two mounting holes per side to fit. There are no other issues, but the end user should not be forced to compromise the ladder's integrity, and compatibility guides are required for ordering purposes.
Use the screws that came with the hooks instead of the cheap machine screws. Buy grade 8 bolts; I haven't been on my ladder in over a year, and the cheap bolts are already breaking. THE HARDWARE AVAILABLE IS IN NO WAY SAFE. I'm not sure how a company can get away with using such low-cost hardware for something you're supposed to put your life in.
This product is great for resting your ladder on a pole or using the hooks on wire. br>br>It took a long time to put together, but it was well worth it.
