I have three different small giant ladders, and because the head is so thick, there is a little extra room, which isn't a bad thing. It's what I use to paint on tough blanks. Planks that have already been painted have NO MARKS on them. br>If you want a tight fit, the Werner extension ladder covers are a good choice; I used a mallet to put mine on. This one isn't quite as padded. Both of these items are mine. They both do an excellent job!
They have a rubbery feel to them, but they aren't particularly soft. When leaned against a wall, they keep their shape. They are extremely effective.
They'd disperse sufficiently to prevent the ladder from scratching the wallboard; the question is whether the wallboard is strong enough to support the ladder. Unless the ladder is slanted incorrectly, it should be fine.

Plus, they match the orange plastic of my little giant ladder. . . yes, I know this isn't a fashion show. . . apart from that, I believe you get a little more bang for your buck. . . especially if you have a stucco walled home like I do. . . I don't want "indentations" showing on the outside of my home, especially when the sun hits it just right. . . these mitts have the right amount of spongyness to absorb the impact of the Also works well for interior walls with high ceilings. I prefer them to the "blue mitt" brand once again.
These were purchased to be used with a "Little Giant" ladder. These are softer than the "Chinese" type, which has a plastic coating and is thinner. It was a tight fit, but it works perfectly. I'm hoping that the stretch to fit doesn't cause them to split. The only way to find out is to wait.
These items are fantastic! Fit perfectly on my Werner lightweight 20' extension ladder and gave me plenty of stability while putting up my Christmas lights. If that makes sense (I included a photo of my fingers compressing the foam to give you an idea), the padding has just the right amount of give to be sturdy but not flimsy. These pads did not leave any visible marks or dents on our vinyl siding. br>br>Plus, there's one more thing - MADE IN AMERICA is a slogan that stands for "Made in America. These are the best mitts on the market. I've been using them for 25 years and they're the best. They're American made, so they're thicker than everyone else's and they don't break. I wouldn't buy anything else. These mitts are commonly used by professionals.
My profession is that of a home inspector. In my truck, I have two small giant ladders, and at home, I have two older ones. I've had thick'ski socks' secured with zip ties on my ladders for years. I always have extra zip ties on hand in case they break. Socks do wear out over time. My 'ladder socks' have gotten a lot of positive feedback. Especially sellers who don't mind if I don't scratch their property. I wasn't sure if these would fit the small giant ladders, but they did. I suppose it could be a mitten. And, unlike socks, they don't collect dirt, stickers, or other debris, and they look a little more professional, though I doubt I'll get any more compliments on my "yankee ingenuity. ".
Fit perfectly over the angled attic ladder feet to protect the hardwood from scraping and provide a soft support for my entire weight. I wish I had purchased these when I first moved in to avoid the hardwood damage I caused the first few times I used the attic ladder without realizing what I was doing.
It's about 3/8 inch thick, and it's really nice. The legs of my Little Giant ladder are made of plastic. When I first used it, it scratched my interior wall. To keep my walls safe, I bought these ladder mitts. It's quite effective. I would strongly suggest it. It's a good fit, if a tad tight.
