Hello. Werner ladders pale in comparison to these ladders in my opinion. I should've gotten them a long time ago. I'm also self-employed. These ladders are fantastic. Bought 2.
The best size for the required height will be determined by your height. Subtract your height and reach from the ten-foot ceiling to get the height of the ladder you'll need. Greetings and best wishes for the holiday season.

This is the second LG ladder I've done. This is a fantastic ladder, but LG quality control failed to test it for functionality. The ladder could not be opened because the square steel bar that locks the positions was missing from the channel. This bar can't be accidentally knocked out of alignment, and it was put together incorrectly with no one checking to see if it worked. I offered to send a photo, but when phone support discovered it was from Amazon, they advised returning it! Finally, I was able to align the bar with the opening on the opposite side and hammer it into place. Quality has always been a stronghold for LG ladders in the past. The lack of quality control and assistance is a major letdown!.
I began by purchasing a 6 foot king kombo with the tool tray attachment, which I adore. So I decided to get the 4 foot version as well. The only issue I have with the ladder is that after I installed the tray, the ladder no longer locks closed because the tray hits the cross bar support arm at the bottom. This makes it difficult to carry because it can swing open if not held in a specific position. Another issue is that when I lean the ladder against the wall, the pointed rubber feet make contact with the dirt before the back rubber feet. I rate this 4 foot ladder a 3 out of 5 stars. The 5 footer gets a 4, but the 6 footer gets a 4. 5 star.
I purchased the 5-foot version and am very pleased with it. Very sturdy, light, leans well against walls, corners, and poles, and in extended mode, allows me to climb to a ten-foot roof with ease. I debated whether I should get the 5ft or 6ft version. Still torn, but I like the lightness and ease of use of the 5' version, which does more than you might expect, in fact, it performs the functions of a 6 or 7 ft ladder for my purposes.
It's possible that this is the best ladder ever made. I'm not sure I've ever seen anything with a 4 on it. 9 rating. Everything about it is ideal.
What is there not to adore about this ladder? It's sturdy, and because I'm short, I need to add some height to everything I do. I usually use step stools, but they don't allow me to reach very far outside. I'm more at ease now if I need the extra height to complete a task. I like the simple design, but if you want more options than opening the ladder, using it, folding it back up, and putting it away, this is not the ladder for you.
We needed a ladder because we had recently relocated, but we wanted one that could be used both indoors and outdoors! This ladder is one of my favorites, and I've even used it to get to the top of my roof with it. Good value for money. It's not huge, so you can store it outside or in a utility closet, which I highly recommend.
It serves my needs admirably. Feels - much- While painting a wall, it's more stable than my step stool (from which I've fallen). My only minor quibble is that the open/close button, at least to me, is not intuitive. There's probably a reason they built it the way they did for a reason, and it works flawlessly. I just try to work it in a different way every time.
I needed a 6' x 8' ladder that is very stable and doesn't weigh as much as a fiberglass 8' or more. I couldn't find it in any store, so I went to Amazon to look for it. This ladder arrived in a box at my door in a matter of days. It's far more stable and secure than my standard Werner aluminum 6-foot ladder, which I use for everything. Then, with the new release bracket, it easily converts to an 8" ladder for those occasional exterior tasks, and I'm amazed at how secure and "lock" the different leg positions are. This ladder is fantastic for the price.
