I gave this product a five-star rating when I installed it on our GE range and oven. Several months after first using the new knobs, I noticed they appeared to be crooked, almost as if they were hung off center and bent. Once the knobs were removed, I discovered the backing plate with the D-shaped hole in it, and removed that as well The slots that slide over the range burners had softened and deformed from heat buildup that comes from opening the oven door in order to gain access to the control panel. In the case of the backing plate, I would have selected one that was made from a heat-resistant material such as metal or Bakelite. The product might be OK for tops only, but not for combos.

As of this writing, I am purchasing my second set of replacement knobs A set of the first set broke easily, and the faux chrome finish It's tight to put on, but the result is a very secure fit, no wobble. I really like how this set feels and fits on the knob stems. . . it feels nicer and fits very securely on the knob stems. It has only been two weeks since I hired them Hopefully, I will be able to provide an update in two months on how durable they are.

To make my GE range look better, I replaced the knobs. It used to be that the knobs had a coating that shriveled up when they got hot. Like silver papers covering them, it looked like they were coated with silver. In the back, it looks like there is a solid metal. This is a very nice set of knobs. The knobs that came with my GE counter top stove were very poor quality and did not last. Replacement knobs are very expensive compared with earlier ones. I bought knobs from another vendor earlier, but they are substandard and made of When I tried to mount one of them, it broke. The item I bought, however, is of superior quality. The heavy metal feel and comfort grip make it a great choice. This is an easy to install software. It's a very reasonable price as well. As a whole, I'd rate the game as good.

Earlier this year, we had purchased I recently purchased new leatherette knobs for our GE stove and they were made of plastic. The first time I used the oven at 450, the silver-looking It is such a pleasure to use these knobs on its stove because they look so good. I was able to fit the product on my GE profile stove perfectly. This is a better quality version of the Additionally, it is very reasonable in price. Despite reviews saying they stick out, I find mine to be exactly right. Make sure the D-is tight enough. On the burner where the knob slides on, the ring from the old knob is no longer present. Those who are overweight will stand out more if this is the case.

It has worked well, but the knobs stand much farther off the stove than the originals. My experience with melting the back side has been similar to that of others. Furthermore, they do not match the OEM, so you will need to replace them all at one time if you care about how they look.
