To handle the twist torque, the original knobs appear to require a flat metal band around the outside of their plastic cylinders. These new ones appear to be more powerful than the previous ones. Because they fit so tightly, I had to be cautious when sliding them on and aligning their opening with the special flat side of the stove shafts. Now it's just a matter of waiting. The OEM knobs on Samsung's phones should make them ashamed.

Of course, our new Samsung stove's knobs broke after only a year, and after another six months, they were falling off. br>br>Of course, the OEM replacement knobs with a blackened stainless finish cost $100. As if I needed another set that would be ruined the following year? br>br>These worked well as a cost-effective replacement, and the chrome looks good against the blackened stove. I've had these for over a month and would highly recommend them. If they break or something happens, I'll update this review.

It wasn't a bad deal in the end. However, one of the five knobs I received was damaged on the inside, and I was unable to use it. I ended up having to redo everything. I'm going to use one of my older ones. The inside of the knob contains a dented and bent steel piece. I couldn't get it over the burner shaft because it was too big. It wasn't the seller's fault; it was a manufacturing issue.

The knobs are secure and work well on the stove. They're a little lighter than the originals (82g vs. 100g, according to our kitchen scale). The color isn't a perfect match for the original stainless, but it's close enough if you replace all five. (If you just replace one, most people will notice. ) )br>br>The only oddity is that the "Lite" button is placed very close to the "HI" button, which is not the case on our stove. It doesn't appear to be an issue because it lights up in that position as well.

These knobs are well-made, but the photo makes them appear to be brushed stainless, as the original knobs were. They're made of chrome with a high sheen.

I bought these to replace the knobs on my Samsung range because the originals only had a plastic post to attach to the valves, which cracked and broke over time. As a result, the original knobs were unable to remain in place. These have a steel collar around the plastic post to reinforce them, and I expect them to last longer than the originals because of it. In addition, the chrome and paint appear to be of higher quality, as they are much brighter and less plastic-textured.

Except for the original knobs, I absolutely adore my Samsung range. They're a clumsy and ineffective design. All but one of them broke down over the course of two years. I'm overjoyed that I was able to locate these replacement knobs. They work well and appear to be durable enough to last a long time. I'm happy with it.

On a range that was only 18 months old, two of my knows were broken. A quick internet search revealed that this is a common issue with numerous solutions available. Instead of making a DIY fix, I purchased these metal reinforced knobs. They're a good fit for the range, but I won't comment on how well they hold up until they've been worn for at least a week.
