The autocleaners in this kit are made of all plastic, with no metal clips, so they could be prone to cracking as well. Nevertheless, the price was right, and I'm likely to order a backup set. (Which was also the cause of the original knob failure. ) We are very satisfied with our purchase.

These knobs have a shiny (glossy) finish instead of the matte finish on my originals. Except for the finish, there are no differences between the two. It looks as good with a shiny finish as it does with a The price for GE knobs is $28 each. There is a substantial difference in price between these.

I am very satisfied with how quick the shipment was, the product fit perfectly and the stove looks great. Getting chrome was my fault because I wasn't paying attention to what they were. Instead of just replacing the broken one and having 4 extras, I should have looked for brushed nickels so I could use them all instead of just replacing the broken one. I apologize for my mistake.

It cost about $30 per knob to buy single knobs online. My stove had the part number of the knob I needed, so I checked to make sure that it would match. My brushed nickel knobs are a little more shiny, but I can deal with that since I only needed to replace one of them at this time. In my opinion, these are worth buying Since I have only had the knob on for a few days, I can't speak to its durability.
