This probe is available for the lowest price I've ever seen. They cost more than $100 from GE. I was dubious about its quality because it was so low. That said, it worked flawlessly until my wife cut it with her electric carving knife while carving a roast, so I'm back to buy another one, which I fully expect to work just as well as the first. Just be aware that it doesn't handle electric carving knives very well.
The issue was not resolved after multiple resets (turning off the breaker). I couldn't find my Thermador probe and didn't want to spend the money on a new one. My Thermador wall oven and the MaxRed probe get along swimmingly. br>br>Just in case you didn't know - I looked for a possible solution on the internet but came up empty-handed. Follow the steps below if you want to reset the probe on a Thermador oven. It worked for me, and it saved me from having to call for service! 1. br>br> Breaker for the oven should be turned off. br>2. For 1 minute, place the probe in the oven.
3. 4. Remove the Probebr>br>br>br>br>br Wait 2 minutes before resetting the oven's breaker. br>5. The probe icon will be turned off automatically!.
Because it's the same size as the Bosch thermometer that died due to a broken connection where it plugs into the stove, I was hoping it would work. IT DOES! It works great, and I've used it three times now: PERFECT. Recommend to anyone looking for a Bosch replacement at a fraction of the cost. PLUS: The company got in touch with me to see if there were any issues, which there aren't. Excellent customer service, prompt delivery, and a fair price. What is there not to like about this?.
Specific to the WOLF Oven: Once I figured out the "trick" to get it to work, it was perfect for our Thanksgiving turkey. I pulled the plug back "one click" instead of pushing it all the way in, and it immediately began to read the temperature. Simply plug in the speaker jack-looking plug all the way, then pull it back 1/8th inch to get it to work. I had gotten a PROBE before that? alert.
Replacements for some of the items cost more than $100. Thank you for sending me the exact same part, which fits perfectly with my GE Profile.
I ordered two of these from Bosch, and both of them fell apart almost as soon as they arrived. This one, on the other hand, appears to be a little more meticulous and works flawlessly. Don't spend your money on the more expensive ones when this one will suffice!.

Note- According to the website, the black color was the one that would fit our Bosch oven, so we chose it over the original brown color.
After a few uses, I've decided to retire my original probe. I bought this instead of the OEM part because the OEM part was too expensive and took too long to arrive. I'm overjoyed that I was able to accomplish this. This one has lasted a long time and is far superior to the one that came with the oven from GE.
