I ended up having to purchase a new heating element from a different vendor and repair the damage (the wiring at the connector had melted down). This one should not be used without first comparing it to the original and returning it if the two do not match.

Don't buy it because it works once and then doesn't work again

It worked for one use before shutting down! This is such a letdown! What a load of nonsense! It's completely and utterly vexing! If you don't think your product will work, don't make it or sell it. Anyone considering purchasing this replacement should refrain from doing so! I should've just gone straight to the oven manufacturer and placed my order. I doubt the company from which I purchased this on Amazon cares that I bought it and still can't bake, and I know the problem isn't with my oven! It broils, and the top element works perfectly; I double-checked all of my oven's wiring, and that isn't the problem; this is simply a faulty replacement part!!.

It was exactly what I was looking for. It's ridiculously simple to change out. On my Hotpoint oven, the element is secured by two screws and connected by two wires. There's no need to panic if your heating element fails; it's a simple DIY project.

It's been 16 years since I bought my stove. This is the third step in the baking process. They always fall short at the crucial points of support. They're all there. Aftermarket and original equipment manufacturer It's probably cheaper to go with the less expensive bake components. 4-, the following time I'm going to order another one of these in 5 years!.

It's a breeze to set up! It works perfectly and arrived just in time for Thanksgiving! Our oven bake element sparked and melted in several places, and the repair shop wanted $300 to replace it and promised it would be done the day after Thanksgiving
