The product is excellent and does exactly what it should, but it is rather pricey for what you get, which is a simple soap solution. But what are you going to do about it? You just spent $4000 on an espresso machine, so you can't risk using an aftermarket product that isn't Jura approved or manufactured. We're stuck with the best coffee on the planet. Cleaning tablets and Clearyl water filters are also required. Sigh!.
We live in the country, so going to a local espresso shop every day isn't an option. For the past 20 years, I've been making an Americano and a latte every morning with Jura espresso machines. I've never had a problem with any of our machines, but I must admit that I've been religious about using Jura cleaning and decalcifying tablets, as well as this product, every morning after making the latte. That, I believe, is the key to ensuring that the machines continue to function properly for many years. Despite their high cost, they have more than paid for themselves.
The product is genuine and performs admirably in the Jura machine; it is well packaged, and I have yet to experience a leaking bottle. When you buy the two-bottle set, you get the best price per use.
This cleaner does an excellent job of cleaning your machine's milk system.
This is an excellent way to clean your coffee machine, particularly the milk system.
It's a good product, but it's way too expensive.
Simple to work with!.
br>br>This stuff appears to be ridiculously expensive; I'm not sure if it's made in China, imported to Switzerland, and then shipped to the United States, or what. It doesn't seem reasonable to charge this much for a bottle of soap (even if it is a concentrated "special" soap). br>br>I had been using the blue stuff (which seemed to work fine). It was also pricey, and the bottles were small. I upgraded to a fancier Jura machine (the "One Touch" model) last year and now use the milk frothing feature on a daily basis (rather than just blowing hot steam into my cup as before). In any case, it appears that keeping the insides of the milk-processing machine clean is now more important. br>br>This stuff is undeniably effective. It gives me comfort to know that I'm using the manufacturer's recommended product, which is free of chemicals that could harm the machine, carcinogens, and other potentially harmful substances. Even so, a less expensive option would be welcome.
