The entire bottle is required, according to the bottle's directions. For the first few times, we used this, but now we use one from Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Beyond.
Cafiza is used to clean group heads, while descaler is used to clean the internal water lines in the water tank.
I can't answer the question, and it appears that no one at Amazon can, either. I sent two e-mails asking for help. By email and once by phone, I've been told 12 and 1; on the phone, I've been told "2, no 3." Whole Latte Love is selling a single 250 ml bottle for $9.
With the Lavazza Blue Point, it should be fine. However, if the machine hasn't been descaled in years, there are always risks when using descaler.

For the past four years, I've been the proud owner of a Gaggia Synchrony Logic RS. I always followed the manual's recommendations for maintenance, but I frequently used a less expensive descaler. After a while, my coffee machine stopped working. Everything else appeared to be running smoothly. The coffee beans would grind, the pump would turn on, and the hot water dispenser would turn on, but there was no coffee. I got in touch with Whole Latte Love. Before sending it in for repair, they suggested that I try descaling it again. I decided to use the Gaggia Descaling Solution this time. I have a functioning coffee machine and excellent coffee/espresso once again. I'm never going back to another descaler. Thank you to the Whole Latte Love Company for making this possible!.
My Gaggia Baby espresso machine is 30 years old, and I brought it with me from Italy without realizing I needed to descale it. Water was trickling through, and after some research, I discovered it needed to be descaled. Following the directions, I poured one bottle of solution into the tank and then filled it with water. Nothing happened after I ran the pump once. The same thing happened the second time I used the pump. The water came through full force the third time I turned on the pump. According to the instructions, you should draw two cups of solution, wait 20 minutes, and then run the rest through. After washing the residue out of the tank, I ran fresh water through it. I ran six tanks of water to ensure that any leftover residue was removed. I've been using the Gaggia on a regular basis for the past month and it always makes a perfect cup of coffee; I wish I'd known about this product sooner because my machine is in like-new condition. Thank you, Gaggia, for creating such a wonderful product!.
It's possible that this contains inkjet printer ink - because it's difficult to imagine what else could make a few grams of citric acid and a cup of water cost so much (and the directions clearly state that the entire bottle should be used every three months). It also has a "rust inhibitor," but what kind of rust inhibitor wouldn't interfere with the acidic descaler's action (or be toxic to humans)? br>br>Apart from that, everything is fine. br>br>1. My instructions stated that I should do two long cycles first, then two short cycles. Not 20-minute repeat cycles, but 3-minute repeat cycles Cycles of 30 minutes each. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br Keep an eye on your machine's tank design; if the only way to completely empty the tank at the end (to get the last of the descaler out) is to pull it through the front, you'll need to let the machine cool for a long time, as the descaling process heats everything up. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. After that, my machine ran much better - However, it is not significantly better than using powdered descaler. The Gaggia liquid is more convenient, but it isn't any better. br>br>4. This descaler should not be used on chrome-plated surfaces. parts that have been plated, such as your portafilter To clean your coffee pot, use Urnex. Don't be afraid to leave things to soak for a while. You can also use Urnex to help remove oils from a "pressurized" filter basket (the descaler only works on calcium deposits - it won't help with oils). not a scum of coffee).
I've had my Gaggia Brera espresso machine for years and only use RO water to clean it on a regular basis. Always watch the video tutorial for that machine on YouTube; do not follow the instructions in the owner's manual; they are useless. Wholattelove created the video. br>Despite its loudness, my machine performs admirably. When the machine is running, the cabinet doors vibrate, making it extremely loud. I highly recommend the Brera (I'm not sure if it's still made, but mine has served me well for the past four years). Now it's been five years. br>I believe you could make your own out of a concentrate or powder as well.
After only 6 months of use, my machine had become so clogged that it appeared to be a total loss. However, with just one bottle of this, it was as good as new. br>br>I've seen people complain about the cost, but $16 a year (1 $8 treatment every 6 months) is a small price to pay to keep a $400-plus car in good working order. A new air filter for my HVAC system costs $25 every six months, so it's a $1000 machine. $55 for 5 liters of car oil For $30, you can get a water filter for your refrigerator. As a result, I consider $8 to be chump change for the upkeep of my espresso machine. Yes, you can get lactic or citric acid from other sources and mix it yourself to save $3-$4. 5 per treatment, but chances are slim that you know how to do it correctly and safely, so take advantage of this simple, convenient product and remember that by making your own (hopefully better tasting) espresso, you're saving hundreds of dollars per year.
It really works. Material of extreme tenacity. It works well to descale the parts of the machine that can't be removed for cleaning. br>br>Those who gave it one star because it didn't work should DEEP CLEAN their espresso machine, which means physically disassembling it and soaking parts in cleaner to remove built-up resin and acid, among other things, on the grouphead and screen. Mine was a year old and SUPER DIRTY, requiring manual disassembly and cleaning. (Photo courtesy of Gaggia Brera. ) (Do a search on "deep cleaning procedure" for more information. ).
The majority of coffee companies want you to use their brand, which is more expensive per cup. My Gaggia machine requires a decal once a month, or less frequently if I use it frequently. I'm constantly placing orders, but I'm running out of time. I wouldn't mind it if the price were more reasonable.
br>I suppose it's fine because my coffee still tastes good.
