Questions & Answers
Yes, the ENA 9 is compatible with Jura descaling and cleaning tablets.
These will work with any Jura machine.
There are 9 tablets in the package, each with three scaling options. When handling the tablets, be cautious because they fizzle and, if not cleaned properly, can stain stone countertops or wood floors.
These descaling tablets can be used if your machine has a cleaning cycle set up and a place to drop the tablet. The universal formula simply loosens the scaling so that it can be flushed out.

Instead of the old white ones, I went with the blue ones (I was about to go generic, but I didn't want to lose my $2000). 00 machine) can't get rid of the bitter taste after 10 cycles of rinsing and decalcifying with purified water. When I called Jura, they said that a piece of the tablet had broken off in the tubing and that they would charge $350 to repair it because it was their defective product! ) should've just bought the generic for $12 instead! Today, I'm going to the nespresso store and running the hot water cycle 10 more times.
On the packaging, there are no instructions for use at all, only warnings about not eating them, getting them in your eyes, letting pets eat them, and so on. These warnings are printed in about 15 different languages, but there isn't a single word about "how" to use them. They are extremely effective and will restore your clogged Jura machine to its former glory.
I couldn't ask for a better deal on a branded product, and it came with both cleaning products I needed for my Jura machine. It cleaned the machine MUCH better than I expected, and I was surprised at how dirty it got.
Internal parts of the Jura are kept clean with these cleaner and descaling tablets. I use them whenever my Jura C9 warns me that it's time to clean, and I haven't had any issues in over four years. The descaling tablets are the only drawback I can think of. Before beginning the cleaning cycle, drop three of these tablets into the Jura water reservoir and wait for them to dissolve. They're as hard as rocks and take a long time to dissolve in the tank, adding to the descaling process's already 30-minute duration. Aside from that, these are most likely the best products for these machines.
In my D6, it worked perfectly. After cleaning, I noticed a significant difference in flavor!.
It appears to keep my Jura running smoothly and producing excellent coffee.
It cleans the machine effectively, but it is costly.
I'm not sure what to say in this situation. It's not as if I could look inside the machine and say, "This is how it works. " "Yeah, that tablet did a great job!" But here's what I can say: br>br>Before and after using the cleaning tablet, my coffee did not taste bad or funky. It's still a delight to eat. br>br>Before and after using the descaling tablet, my coffee did not taste bad or funky. It's still a delight to eat. I had to look up the manual for my machine because the descaling tablet didn't come with any useful English instructions (there was a very brief blurb in English), but they're dead simple to use (and kind of fun to use because they dissolve like an Alka-Seltzer). br>br>To be honest, I'd follow Jura's orders. You want to spend that much money on a coffee machine only once in a while.
