For the Hisense air conditioner we bought at Lowes last year, we needed a longer exhaust hose. With two different hose diameters and two different spiral directions, choosing the right hose was a little more difficult than I'd anticipated. I took measurements and looked at the spiral direction before deciding on the number 5. Hose measures 9" in length and is wound counterclockwise. It's a great replacement for the shorter hose that came with the kit. The collars on each end of the old hose were easily unscrewed and then screwed onto the new hose. This new, longer hose snapped into place with ease and is a secure fit. br>br>This new hose is well-made and appears to be sturdy and long-lasting. I'd recommend it to anyone who owns a Hisense air conditioner or needs a 5. 9" hose.

(5. The diameter is 9 inches. This hose was exactly what I needed. br>Be sure to get the hose with the "correct" diameter! br>This is number five. It's a 9-inch diameter, not a 5-inch diameter. It's a lot longer than the original exhaust hose. It enabled me to remove an air conditioner from a box and place it on the floor, where it belongs. br>In terms of length, there is still some room. br>Because I did not measure the length, this is only a GUESS. It's about 18 to 20 inches longer, right? br>In terms of quality, the hose appears to be adequate. Who knows what the future holds. My problem was "solved" as a result of this. br>I wish LG had used the same length of hose from the beginning. How much would it cost? A few cents? The unit cost me more than $400. Except for the "bean" counters, it appears to be a bit silly.

This was purchased as a replacement for a Soleus Air "SG-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX PAC- 08E4". I stuffed it in despite the fact that it didn't belong there. On one end, however, it began to unravel and break. I didn't have anything to cut the metal inside the heat-resistant container because I didn't have anything to cut it with. Overall, the best things about this product are the length, which means my portable system can now be on the floor, and its newness, which provides flexibility to adjust to some projects; however, I had to stuff the curly broken end inside the tube to fit it on the system at the time, which I believe makes airflow less effective; overall, the best things about this product are the length, which means my portable system can now be on the floor; and its newness, which provides flexibility to adjust to some projects. I was in desperate need of this product because I purchased a used system, and the old pipe broke down even faster and was so short that I couldn't keep it running in good conscience. I was pleased that it arrived quickly and that it will keep me cool for at least a few summers.

It was too small for my LG portable air conditioner. At the AC's end, there is a leak. It's not a problem on the other end. The same is true for all of these hoses; the hot air will wear them down and they will eventually break. But, at the very least, replacements are now readily available.
