It's a piece of foam insulation that works 100% of the time. I live in a house that is over 100 years old. years- Our windows are old, and when you open one, it leaves a large gap. Our downstairs A/C unit broke down, so we had to rely on window units. Because they had to go into the windows, there was a huge gap that was leaking hot air, causing our window units to work overtime and on a continuous basis to fix the problem. I decided to buy these, and while they aren't perfect, they have provided a great deal of support; no longer do I have to deal with a constant "vroom" in the background, and the downstairs is MUCH colder than it was before.
There's no adhesive or anything on this; it's just foam that you stuff into cracks around your air conditioner. It's quite thick, so if you don't think you'll need it, I wouldn't recommend buying it just in case.
Great product for sealing air conditioner drafts as well as plugging drafts on windows and cracks. It comes highly recommended, and I've been using it for a long time.
This is the most useless item I've ever bought or received! There's no adhesive, and there's so little of this bs foam in the bag that it didn't even cover the entire length of my small window! And the foam is bent from where it was rolled into the bag, resulting in two gaping uneven points. I've never made a worse purchase in my life.
The foam material is very nice. Although I wasn't going to use it for insulation, it was a nice, thick foam that I needed for my project.
Stays in place because it is firm, not stiff. There was no drooping or looseness.
These were used to wrap around my window air conditioners. I anticipated needing two, but I was able to finish with just one.
It does exactly what it says on the tin. It was used to seal a drafty window.
