Questions & Answers
The only question about fit is whether a 5" or a 5.25" tube is required by the Toshiba. Tube measures 9 inches in diameter. You've got your answer if you can find that.
If you have a counterclockwise hose, you must order a counterclockwise hose; you cannot use a clockwise hose because it will not screw on properly. If you order a clockwise hose, you will have to return it because it will not work.
The new hose will fit if the air conditioner hose exhaust pipe is 5 inches long. If you're unsure, take a measurement of the hose's connection.
It's a 5-inch hose that connects to a fitting (if one exists) by turning it counterclockwise. The most common size is 5 inches, but depending on what you have, it could be 4 inches, so you'll have to get creative with how you attach it to the unit.

The fittings from my DeLonghi Pinguino, which I bought at Costco, worked perfectly with this. This hose is the way to go if you want a slightly longer hose.
It wasn't like that - The tubes are said to be clockwise in the product description. Two counter-offers were received. tubes that spin in the opposite direction If this keeps happening, it's unacceptable and not a mistake. br>*update
The business got in touch with me. Within hours, they'd changed their product description to reflect what customers are receiving. br>I'm giving it three stars because I can't comment on the product's quality because I needed a clockwise threaded tube and this didn't fit. Furthermore, while the customer service was satisfactory, it was not exceptional. The problem with the product description not matching the product being sold should have been discovered by now. correction made a long time ago Consider how amplified the product description is, and make sure you have the correct size. Before ordering, I read the thread, but the company didn't even read the product description before putting it up. I hope the seller takes something away from it. that they'll keep getting better in the future.
The EL272HGK model is the one you're looking for. After doing some research, I decided on this pipe because it appears to be more durable than the other options. I knew I wouldn't be able to "screw" this pipe into the one that came with the unit because they had the same thread, and I needed the opposite thread to join them. But I had a plan: I had some aluminum roof flashing on hand, so I used it to make an inside coupler, then slid both pipes onto the coupler and secured them with some Gorilla tape. It was a success.
I had the same problem as several other reviewers: the listing stated clockwise, but I couldn't use this hose with my clockwise fittings. The problem is that all other exhaust hose listings on Amazon appear to specify whether the hose should be attached clockwise or counterclockwise based on how fittings are attached to the hose. This hose will not work if you attach fittings to it by turning them clockwise on the hose. This hose can only be used with fittings that are attached to the hose by turning them counterclockwise. While the hose itself is nice, the fact that it is described using a different orientation standard than all other exhaust hoses on Amazon has caused a lot of confusion. br>Instead, if you want a clockwise exhaust hose, consider getting something like this:.
For my upstairs bedroom, I recently purchased a Delonghi portable air conditioner. Even with the air conditioning on, it gets too hot in the summer. However, the hose that came with the unit was too short for my needs: I have a desk in front of the window, so I need something a little longer to reach it. br>br>I bought this in the hopes of extending the OEM one that came with my air conditioner. This was, however, just the right amount of time. I purchased the incorrect orientation, but it didn't matter because I didn't need to extend it. br>br>A word of caution: don't stretch the hose too far. The more time passes, the more work the air conditioner has to do to push all that hot air out.
This worked perfectly as an extension hose for my Black and Decker BPACT10WT Portable Air Conditioner, as the title indicates. Solid construction, similar to the OEM hose that came with the portable AC unit. br>br>The hose that came with the air conditioner was too short (why do they do that?). ) Because this one is longer, it worked for me. It threads in the opposite direction, which is exactly what I needed. br>br>.
Now I'm unable to use my air conditioner on the hottest weekend of the summer, and I've spent more than three times as much on a hose purchased directly from the manufacturer.
I recently bought a portable air conditioner, but the hose was far too short, so I had to prop it up on a box to get it to reach the window and stay on. This was purchased as a replacement hose in the hopes of removing the box and placing the air conditioner on the floor. It's a good thing I did! This hose is long enough to allow me to place the air conditioner on the floor while still reaching the window hook-up. What a fantastic purchase!.
