It worked perfectly for me; perhaps you got a brittle old hose!

LW). I'm overjoyed that these are now more widely available, as the original had been held together for far too long with duct tape. When I tried to find a replacement, I was always directed to an OEM part that cost $100! The new exhaust hose is much more durable than the old one - I can *actually* curve it to fit the space required, and it stays, uh, accordioned, where I don't require additional length! The original was never a fan of being squished down - It wanted to spread out as much as possible, which was inefficient (*sigh*, more duct tape for the original). My purchase has made me extremely happy. When I need one for my *other* portable ac (which will be soon, as the original on THAT machine has also cracked), I'm hoping to get another, smaller hose. br>br>I strongly advise it, and it doesn't matter whether you replace the hose clockwise or anticlockwise (which is something I debated for a long time); Only if you want to connect this hose to another does this matter. The length, on the other hand, is extremely long. You'd have to have your air conditioner VERY far away from your window to need a longer one, in my opinion (which introduces inefficiency due to the heat in the hose then radiating into the space, so definitely go with the shortest one you need)!.
My son lives in a house that is more than a century old. For some reason, all of the windows are awning-style. windows that crank out in style Because a standard air conditioner would only fit if the window frame was removed, he must rely on portable air conditioners. His 22x22 living room has one window, but it is in a dormer nook on the opposite side of the room. He wanted the 80" hose to bring the air conditioning closer to where his seating is in the middle of the room. The material is the same mil thickness as the original hose, so it works great. I'm not sure why these are $31 when the 60" are only $20, but that's how it works.
Because it's shorter than the others, this was the cheapest replacement tube I could find on Amazon. Because my air conditioner is directly in front of the window, I don't require a particularly long tube. It took a while to screw in the window attachment and the other side, but once I did, I realized that expanding the first couple sections makes screwing in the tube MUCH easier. If you don't, turning the tube will be extremely difficult.
Because the DeLonghi stock is so worn out, you'll need this to breathe fresh air. It's a perfect fit for my current device. Because the stock is so low, you'll need this to get some fresh air. The screw is designed to fit into the factory adapter and hose. Setup for a DeLonghi Costco or Amazon model can be seen in the photos.
This tube was purchased to replace an old, cracked, and worn tube. This tube's length is perfect for me. Really good value for the money; I'd buy it again if I needed it.
I was skeptical because I would have had to return it if it wasn't a true fit, so I went to all of my local Home Depots to look for it. However, they were out of stock within a 100-mile radius, and it had been far too hot! So I placed my order on Sunday, and it was supposed to arrive on Wednesday, but it arrived a day early: ) Which I'm grateful for because it's been unbearably hot! I have an LG Portable Air Conditioner, which was the perfect fit!.
This tubing was purchased to replace damaged tubing from a window air conditioner. The extra length is fantastic and allows for a wide range of unit placement options. The tubing is extremely durable and allows for a cool breeze to pass through the unit. I found it to be less expensive than the majority of the other options I looked into.
N100EL is only one star short of perfect because the product was designed with a counterclockwise grove, which is the same as the housing in my air conditioner, but I was able to push it in and get it to work.
