The bracket can be mounted inside or outside, depending on the size of your window sill.
Yes. If your outside window sill is made of solid material, such as brick or concrete, drill guide holes with a 2/5'' drill bit and insert plastic expansion anchors (short) into the holes for anchor screws that go down into the sill.
This bracket can be used on vinyl siding, if that's what you're looking for.br> br>One quick reminder: this bracket requires a solid window sill structure (such as brick or wood) to mount the anchor and screws; if your window sill is a hollow vinyl structure, this bracket will not work. br>If you send us a picture of your window, we'll be able to give you more information based on the situation.

I didn't want to openly criticize this product, even though it deserves it, but I didn't have a choice; I should have known I'd have a problem with this air conditioner support bracket as soon as I saw the type of screws that were provided to anchor it to the windows sill. I installed the bracket according to the instructions, but when I went to install the air conditioner the next day, I noticed the level bubble on the support arm was not centered as it had been the day before. I discovered that the bracket was loose as soon as I touched it. What the hell is going on? The issue was that both anchoring screws in the sill had snapped! Without writing a review, I was going to notify Amazon that this item is a POS and should not be trusted to support an air conditioner, but I didn't have a choice. sorry. However, this is not the case. Nobody should put their faith in it to support any type of air conditioning system.
Installation appeared to be relatively simple (for him), and the brackets provided the necessary support and balance for the three window air conditioners. It appears to be made to last. The brackets appeared to be well-made and of good quality. The items arrived quickly and undamaged. The brackets included a level to ensure that it was positioned correctly. The only problem was that the screws that came with the brackets were not suitable for concrete window ledges. It was fortunate that one of our friends had concrete-drilling screws. Apart from that minor snag, the price was extremely reasonable without sacrificing quality! My purchase was a success!.
I attempted to use it, but the supporting arm was incompatible with our vinyl siding - It would simply slide down and do nothing, or if it did grip, it would literally pull the vinyl siding down, which isn't good - I could see it working well with brick or wood siding, but if you have vinyl siding, I'd recommend trying a different approach.
The instructions aren't very clear, but we were able to figure out how to put it in the window after looking it up online. It was a little more difficult than I anticipated, but I'm glad I bought it. It made installing the new air conditioner a breeze once it was in place. The ac won't rattling because of how sturdy it is. I would strongly suggest it.
Everything you'll need to install it in a variety of window configurations was included.
Although my window fit within the parameters, the product was simply too small. I couldn't even get close to leveling it; There was a 20-degree drop in temperature. It may work at the very bottom of the parameter range, but it appears to be a case of bad luck.
While this will work with standard wood window frames, it is not recommended. Mine is made of metal, stands 4 inches tall, and has a slant on the outside sill. Bricks are on the way. You might be able to make it partially functional, but it won't be very stable.
Used to purchase a brand new air conditioner for my son's room on the second floor. Installing it was a breeze. It appears to be quite robust.
