There was a 9 1/2 inch split down by 18 inches; there was a 43 inch assembled length.
This was the first instance in which I did not follow the instructions. bought it in 2013, so maybe it does now but I know everyone who has looked at it online or in-store didn't just sell them like snow shovels or tunnel bags and they came in your backpack or tunnel bag. Hopefully that will help.
A 2 point handle has a 4 point angle.

A snow shovel makes a lot of sense for the beast. This version was first developed around 10 years ago, and it has never failed. An aluminum blade needs thin surfaces due to frequent scratches on the concrete but that can be expected from a blade that has already been repeatedly removed. I really like the length of the shovel and the addition of a saw to it. As well as the flat flat leading edge on the blade, I also like its easy installation. A great motorized shovel, or a tool for traveling around the house or driving around in the car. On the other hand, it would probably be okay for you to ski backcountry if you are just using the tool to carry around some equipment. On the edge of a country). The status of the update for Jan 2020 has been changed. Because the saw blade comes in the handle, it interferes with the shaft spring, which blocks both buttons from locking fully, however the handle still stays connected. To solve this, I will probably shave 1/4" from the saw blade.
My only disappointment is that it has a curved edge and doesn't flat. The scraper is very good, and you can use it on any of your vehicles or snowmobiles at home. The roof of a motor home is inundating with snow.
In my Dakine helipack backpack, the handle is only 2 inches too short. I usually like to leave things as tall as possible, but can't fit this handle when fully collapsed. Unless otherwise specified, you need an umbrella shovel so that it will stand on its own. When attempting to place your backpack into one, set your measuring tape aside and set it aside.
My mountain sled has this shovel, and this really has gotten a lot of use since I started using it on the sled. If I want to cut something, I have my saw and it will break on me regardless of what I do. Getting more used to the handle made it become less stiff but it still will be nice to get another.
As part of my snowmobile kit, I bring this shovel. I love it. Strong. Light. Having easy carry on for example.
My machine works well. For clearing ice from snow machine boards, the ice pick tip on a handle would be most useful.
I've used it as a screwdriver in my toolbox. Cleaning up after an accident with a sturdy shovel is easy.
