Although it does not "fold," it is possible to use it. Simply place the shovel blade on the handle's opposite end.
Although it is slightly larger than a standard shovel, it still fits into standard tunnel bag and pack slots.
I'm sorry, but I don't have a float pack with me. It's a perfect fit for my KLIM bag. This is the shovel to use if you need to move snow.

Your creative team is outstanding. I'm a big fan of the design. It took me a while to figure out how to use it because it didn't come with instructions and the listing isn't very detailed, but the shovel is fantastic. I like how they attached it in two different ways, eliminating the need for a hinge to switch it from a hoe to a shovel. This is a far more durable and less likely to break design. The saw that comes with the kit has a cheap plastic handle but is otherwise well-made and designed. It was far better than I had anticipated.
Craftsmanship is excellent, and the design is well-thought out. I realize it's just a shovel, but it's the Cadillac of shovels when compared to the competition.
The saw bent right away; it's too flimsy for my tastes and isn't very sharp; however, the rest of the shovel is sturdy and should last for a long time.
It's small enough to fit into my backpack. I've never had to use a saw before; Although it isn't much of a saw, I'm sure it would come in handy in an emergency. I've had to dig out my sled with the shovel several times.
Excellent craftsmanship. I really like how you can hoe with it. It makes it a little easier to dig a snowmobile out. It can be carried in a tunnel bag.
One star for my experience with "live to play" and ten stars for bca dozer. Purchase the dozer from somewhere other than them.
This shovel appears to be of good quality. Cleared snow from a roof that had a lot of heavy, wet snow mixed in with ice. During my testing, it did not break.
Shovel, sic. Any backcountry snowmobile rider should have one of these.
