My height and weight are the same as yours. got the youth (10-year-olds) 14) because the adult size was deemed to be too large by reviewers. I'm a perfect fit for the youth size!

With a height of 5'5" and a weight of 130 pounds, These are extremely well-matched, especially in terms of color. Knee and elbow pads are included in the package. The wrist guards are a little large for my thin wrists, but they are very snug once velcroed. When I'm rollerblading, I put on my protective gear. They kept me safe from falls and provided adequate padding.
Because they were just delivered, I have yet to use them. They appear to be in good shape. made. Because I am a large man (255 pounds), I took a chance and hoped they would fit. They do! ) The one thing that irritates me is that I would have steered clear of anything in hunter's orange. I liked the color these appeared to be in the photos, but they are not that color at all. This irritates me. These are a very bright and contrasting orange.
It appears that the quality is excellent. I chose the pink color because I liked how subtle it was. I'm 5'1" and 103 pounds, and I'm almost 30 years old. Despite the fact that it was sized for a 14-year-old, it was still too big. They're not big enough to make me want to return them because, despite their size, they still work. As a result, if you're a petite adult, size down. The cost-to-quality ratio is unbeatable.
Retrospec Protective Gear is a set of rollerblading, roller skating, and skateboarding knee, elbow, and wrist guards. They are available in a variety of colors and sizes. They're made of thick foam and fabric, with firm plastic covering certain areas for added protection. They're held together by stretchy straps and Velcro. There are no tighteners on the Velcro straps. So far, the equipment appears to be of high quality, and the price appears to be reasonable. Despite the fact that the Velcro fastens very close to the edge of the knee and elbow pads, it does not appear to be scratchy. When I rollerblade, the knee and elbow pads bend nicely, and the wrist guards are extremely durable and never slip off. This gear, however, is only available in three sizes, and there is no sizing chart available. I received an adult size set that was too big for me, so I had to order a youth size instead. Even so, the knee and elbow pads appeared to be a little loose, and going down a size would almost certainly be too tight. They're not falling off, but they're large enough that fastening the Velcro straps doesn't seem to make them any tighter. I'd like the straps to be designed so that they can be tightened more easily. Apart from a few minor sizing issues, Retrospec Protective Gear is a fantastic product that is both comfortable and effective, and I would strongly recommend it to others.
It is both affordable and long lasting. As I attempted to skate FOR THE FIRST TIME, I felt absolutely nothing! I fell three times and had no pain because my knees, elbows, and wrists were all well protected. I'm going to tell my mother about it.
Although I am not a fan of this brand, their pads are excellent. I'd compare the fit and quality of these to the protec pads, which are typically purchased by the majority of people. br>br>Pads are well-fitting and provide enough comfort - To be honest, unlike a helmet, pads aren't overly complicated, so these should protect just as well as the majority of them, and they stay in place and don't slip around. br>br>The wrist guards are the only thing that feels a little cheap. I'd probably get a separate wrist set, or if you're longboarding, you're probably already wearing slide gloves, so. br>br>I can't think of anything negative to say about these. They fit well, are a good price for those on a budget, and perform as well as most other pads.
During the pandemic, like many others, I decided to take up roller skating as a new (old) hobby. I did my research, bought a pair of skates, and was overjoyed to find these attractive pads to go with them. I dressed up and put on a suit. The pads had a great fit, were adjustable and comfortable, were stretchy where they needed to be, and made me look like a QUEEN of roller derby. I put on my cool LED light-up shoes. So I laced up my skates and walked down the street from my front porch. On my first glide, I immediately toppled over, landing on my knees and bracing myself with my wrist guards. I noted, optimistically, that thanks to the pads, I was not injured at all. After that, I straightened up and raised my head. Before anyone could see my triumphant defeat, I dashed back into the house. But kudos to these pads because they only hurt my pride:.
Even after 35 years of skateboarding, I know when to gear up, and I'm good at falling, which is an art in and of itself unless you break bones. I just got an Eboard that goes 30 mph, and the rule of thumb is that if you can't run as fast as you're going to go, you're not going fast enough. Put on some clothes. I'm 5'10" and 267 pounds, and the knees and elbows fit well. No pads are particularly comfortable, but they do serve the purpose of providing a target for your fall, and these will suffice. The hand guards are a little small, and I don't have particularly large hands, so I'm disappointed, but they'll still be useful just in case. I went with orange because I want cars and other moving objects to notice me, and these are bright and will work well. It's a good deal for $20 or so.
