This one doesn't have a lot going for it. If you stick to the size chart, it runs a little small (at least on my kiddo's head). Even though it is not dual certified, we prefer the sweatsaver helmet from the same company (for skateboarding).

Safety is assured, as is the cool factor. IlI has returned three helmets in the last few weeks, and I believe I've finally discovered the winner. I've been looking for a BMX-style bike for quite some time now. Two of the helmets were incorrectly advertised as applying to biking or are questionable in terms of safety—advertised with [certification] but with no markings or stickers lending credit to the claim. They were also only available in a tied-back style. off bag. sketchy. The dome on the third one was so large that it made my head appear enormous. It's a safe helmet, but it doesn't have the youthful appearance I'm looking for. br>br>Once I opened the amazon box, I was ecstatic to find the helmet in packaging that rivaled that of a new store-bought helmet. The advertised certifications were prominently displayed on the front of the box. There were also certification stickers and mfg date/lot stickers on the inside of the helmet. I got the glass black helmet, which is about as glossy as a highly polished car, and all of the information in the helmet and on the box made me feel like I was getting a legit safe product. I’m discussing 95% mirror gloss with’you. The chin strap and the brand stickers are both green, which I like. Only one of the two straps is green, while the other is black. It also includes an extra pad and a large orange sticker to slap on something. The cut-off point/space There are plenty of outs above the ears. The inner impact foam and shell thickness, as well as the overall shape, are just right. I feel safe, but I don't want to appear like a commuter. br>br>The fit is good; it sits evenly on your skull cap with the pads in place and is well cushioned. There are no areas where it compresses or rubs. There is no back adjustment cage/dial to tighten it down, but once the straps are properly adjusted, it sits/fits perfectly. As a result, I wasn't concerned that it wouldn't stay on if I took to the air and landed on my melon. The air port holes aren't particularly large, but they allow enough airflow to pass through that you won't overheat. br>br>This helmet took first place. I was so taken with it that after only 5 minutes, I was adding my own stickers. I would highly recommend this helmet, and we will most likely purchase a second one for the family.
I'd like to leave a positive review, but my helmet was stolen two days after Christmas. It was a gift for my grandson, who had only recently begun to skateboard; it fit well and looked good, but he did not have enough time to put it through its paces. I might get him another in the future if I can scrape together the funds.
I bought one for myself and another for my husband because it's a great helmet. Yes, I have a large head (yes, I do: /) both of which were purchased in a large size and fit him and me perfectly. If you have naturally curly hair, you may need to smooth and pull it back in order for the helmet to fit properly. Fantastic helmet! br>br> 🤗.
The green adds a pop of color to the scene and helps him to keep his balance.
During a fall that resulted in a torn rotator cuff and severe roadrash, it did an excellent job of protecting my head. I immediately placed a second order. I'm not sure what the problems with the fitting are. If you're not sure about the fit, go to Triple 8's website and double-check. They have videos that show you how to measure your head and choose the appropriate size.
Great helmet at a great price, but only if you have a head that is average to small in size. I don't have the head of John Madden, but I do have a head that is slightly larger than average for a man. I ordered a L/XL, but it was far too small. This helmet is probably better suited to a teenager.
Is it really necessary to have a fractured skull and blood pouring out of your ears in order to prove this? Purchase the helmet right now. Good padding and a snug fit.
I'm comfortable wearing this. It has a good fit and is snug. I liked that it came with a different set of liners for a more personalized fit.
