Does anyone know why this is happening? Is it not possible to pick one stupid number and refer to it throughout the manuals and everything? Yakima is dragging its feet every time I purchase a new car and gives me a ton of money. The average cost of 20 years is easily two grand. In the future, I will buy Thule, just because I am tired of being frustrated by Yakima's poorly written instructions and silly things like this.

Due to the wear and tear on what I received, it is clear that this product was previously used by someone else for an extended period of time. The rubber on the car to prevent scratching had been torn up and worn, and the paint had been chipped and peeled off. It appeared that the plastic bases had been scratched and deformed at the edges. There was one 179 Base clip at the back of the This combination worked perfectly for a roof rack, and Yakima is the only company that makes a roof rack for cars like mine. In spite of this, it was quite difficult to put together and needed a few adjustments to be reliable.
