Construction is sturdy, and the length can be adjusted
5/5

On my wife's Nishiki mountain bike, I needed something to look like a traditional men's crossbar. This is an excellent solution. It's made of durable materials, has an adjustable length, and is simple to latch and unlatch. Because of the recessed button design, it is difficult to latch. All you have to do now is clamp the small end under the handlebars and the larger end under the seat. br>br>Just make sure your seat is securely attached to the seatpost, as upward pressure from the adapter could cause it to pop off! As an added failsafe, I still use bungies to secure the frame to the carrier.

This is a great value for the money; it's simple to use and has performed admirably in the few instances where I've used it
5/5

The longest I've driven with it was an hour at 70 mph, and it performed admirably; for those concerned about the small "weak" cord in the middle, it has no bearing on the functionality! Because this bar adapter cannot physically extend beyond your seat post and head set, your bike will not come loose and fall off if the cord snaps. Only if the red clamps come undone will your bike fall off or slip out. br>br>Which is why, in addition to this, I purchased a few bungee cords, which I recommend you do as well (especially for longer trips).

I bought this to use with a women's Schwinn touring bike, but I'm not sure what size the bike frame is (I'm 5'1")
4/5

At first glance, this bar appeared to be excessively long. Yes, it fit around the seat post and head tube, but there was a lot of extra room, and I was worried that it would slide around while driving. Using a Saris Bones bike rack, we used this bar to secure my bike to the rack. It was stable once the bike was in place. There was no movement, no paint scratching, and no other negative effects. The only reason I gave it a four star rating is because this is our first time using it. Don't be put off by the negative reviews about these bars for women's bikes because it appears to be a well-made product that is simple to use and was delivered quickly. Even if it had been a little larger and less stable, I could have devised a solution to fill the void. I wholeheartedly endorse this product, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! The bike's black bar, the clamp around the seat post, and the clamp around the head tube can all be seen in the photos. Have a great time biking!.

Capacity of the load: 33 lbs
4/5

Very well constructed. Purchased to transport a RadRover eBike on my car's bicycle rack. With its 48 volt battery pack, my eBike weighs in at around 60 pounds. "Load Capacity:" was written on the label, which disappointed me. 15 kg". I'd like to have that information. It was mentioned in the Amazon description. On the plus side, it appears to be well-made for the price and may be adequate for a short trip. When I experiment, I'll remove the battery pack to reduce the weight of the eBike.

This is a fantastic product at an even better price! Because I have a hybrid with no top tube, I needed this to put my bike on my trunk rack
5/5

This is extremely durable, safe, and functional! To be safe, I also secure the bike to the rack, ensuring that the top tube isn't the only source of support - Every time I've used it to transport my bike, however, it's been very careful.

In my opinion, this is a poor design
3/5

It was broken the first time I used it! The item is retractable to fit various bike sizes, but the two parts are only held together by a retractable string. In my opinion, this is a poor design. While riding my bike on a bike rack, I noticed my bike wobble back and forth, pulled over, and discovered the string had snapped and the two parts had separated; this could have been avoided if the string had a safety feature that prevented the two parts from coming apart if the string had snapped. I was very disappointed, and I would not recommend it unless you have a $10 bike.

There are no straight crossbars on any of my bicycles, and My bikes don't have straight crossbars, and they're all difficult to hang onto on my new 4-wheeler
4/5

While the bike stand was an extra cost, it did solve the problem. This was one of the more affordable brands with good reviews. They came in twos, which I bought two of.

It does the job, but the length cannot be adjusted
4/5

Fits both my son's (24-inch youth bike) and my wife's (16-inch women's frame) bikes. It appears to be fairly sturdy, but I'm not a fan of the design because the adapter's 'extendability' is not lockable and can freely lengthen/contract when being stored or used. It's unlikely that there's anything to worry about, but it makes me nervous.
