There isn't a visor on this one.
Unfortunately, there is no XL version of the Overtake. The Giro Savant and Kask Mojito are two XL models that I can recommend.
Smith glasses are said to fit, but I've tried them on and they don't. Regardless, the helmet is well worth the money, as it is light and comfortable. and safe.
It is. This helmet has been in my possession since late 2016, and it is an excellent helmet.

In October of 2015, I purchased my first Smith Overtake Helmet. I fell in love with it right away, but it wasn't until today that I realized how important MIPS technology is and how good of a helmet it is. On my way to work, I was cycling down a hill at about 30 mph when I came across a large tumbleweed in my path, which I couldn't avoid hitting. I went down hard and hit my head on the ground hard, but the helmet absorbed the impact so well that I was able to walk away from a crash that would have likely knocked me out if I had been wearing my old helmet. I included a photo of how the helmet handled the blow to my head's back. br>br>It's unfortunate that I crashed, and it's even worse that I had to buy another one because this one was "toast," but I didn't hesitate because it's well worth the money.
This helmet is distinctly modern, and it has taken the genre's boredom out of it. Lightweight, the crank dial snugs it up as the entire helmet moves in to your head as you crank it, and the Koroyd keeps it well ventilated so I don't sweat or get cold in the cool evening air of Southern California. I have a smallish head, so Medium was perfect; with the crank dial loose, my head easily touches the helmet's roof; The crank tightens the fit and prevents it from moving. Medium should suffice for most people's needs. Decide whether you want to go big or small. The Koroyd appears to be an excellent choice. Very comfortable and light-weight fit that eliminates the need to wear a helmet. If this or any other helmet cost $250, I'd be damned. Colors and sizes may be on sale, so keep an eye out for them. On Amazon, I was able to get mine for less than $100. I've included a photo. Because this style is still unusual to see on the street, I get a lot of looks.
I felt safe wearing it because Smith was able to incorporate ski helmet technology into a bicycle helmet. Because of the honeycomb design and materials used, it has good airflow and is lightweight. My previous Smith helmet lasted me on a transcontinental bicycle ride and for months after being dropped and dings. When I first saw this ad, I jumped on it.
This helmet has exceeded my expectations. It's a good fit for my Smith sunglasses. The helmet is extremely secure and comfortable to wear. With this helmet on my head, I feel a lot safer. The front of the helmet is a little bulky, which is the only disadvantage. When I'm in aero position, I have to lift my head that extra millimeter or two, which puts a lot of strain on my neck. I understand the bulk is for safety reasons, so it's not a problem for me. It would be the best helmet if it could be shaved down just a smidge.
EVER! The most amazing helmet I have ever seen. EVER! Everything I've read about this helmet has been confirmed to be accurate. It's not too heavy. Quiet. It's very relaxing. Aero. I'm no longer aware that I'm wearing a helmet. What about the cost? The only design flaw, and it's not a big one, is that the strap doesn't intuitively go behind my ear, which I got for $80 from Competitive Cyclist via Amazon. It's something I have to do from time to time. However, I was aware of this prior to purchasing it, and it's such a minor detail to have to re-purchase. I can't believe someone actually complained about the strap being in the wrong place. It is impossible to make a mistake. The helmet is very nice. So light and easy to wear. And, unlike traditional helmet designs, it doesn't produce a lot of wind noise. This book comes highly recommended.
My husband usually wears Giro helmets, but he really likes this Smith helmet! Comfortable, durable, and well-ventilated.
High-quality materials and a stunning appearance - This is my first Smith bike helmet, and it far surpassed my expectations after trying three other helmet models without success. The padding was more than adequate, and the ride was extremely comfortable. I've been riding for 18 years and counting. I've been running 20 miles per day in the low 90s and haven't gotten too hot. I went ahead and bought a helmet for my wife that was very similar!.
I've never had a better helmet in my life! Seriously, this thing is both comfortable and ventilated to the max. It's also nice to get compliments on how nice the helmet looks, which is nice because helmets aren't always fashionable.
