Which is self-evident. I've tried a lot of cycling helmets and this is by far the most comfortable. It doesn't feel like you're wearing a helmet because it's so light and well-designed. Fortunately, I've never had to put them to the test in terms of crash protection, but I have no doubt that they would perform as advertised! Should also mention that Smith helmets and cycling glasses are designed to be worn together and are the best looking and performing pair available. Because of the honeycomb design, I wasn't sure about the ventilation, but I can honestly say that overheating hasn't been an issue. To be completely honest, I live in San Diego, where the temperature rarely rises above 80 degrees. This year's summer has been hotter than usual, and I'm pleased with the ventilation, even when using the flat black color. They are more expensive than some other well-known brands, but they are well worth the investment.

This helmet is absolutely fantastic. It's light, but it has a strong and durable feel to it. The honeycomb things in the air vents are what first drew me to this helmet; no more bugs, bees, or other flying insects swarming my bald head! Simply put, this is an outstanding helmet.

Bees are kept out of the vents by honeycomb. It appears to be in good condition.

Impress! I was concerned about the fit because I usually wear a large, but after consulting their fitting chart, it turned out to be a medium, which is perfect. My third hemet, and by far the best I've ever owned,,,great design. . . . . . . You get what you pay for. . . . . . definition of quality. . . . . . . Thank you very much.
