I wanted to give the magnetic eye shield style a try, and I'm glad I did! The shield fits over my prescription glasses, so I don't have to worry about contacts before a ride, and the helmet is comfortable, well-fitting, and durable. I'm looking forward to using this one for a long time, and my favorite feature is the bright red safety light, which, aside from the awesome eye shield, is my favorite feature.   This helmet has a red light on the back that can be switched between four different modes and can be charged via USB. It is very light and comfortable for a woman to wear. It's an excellent option for biking safety.

The magnetic visor does a fantastic job. Other high-end helmets I own include Bontrager and Specialized S-Works. Works, Smith, and so on, and this one is just as comfortable and fits well. It hasn't been in a crash yet (knock on wood), but it appears to be well constructed. It has made me very happy.

DISLIKES: The headband is a little bent, but it's made of plastic, so it'll mold to my head. br>The lenses are a little blurry in places. br>LIKES: It's a nice color, but I've already applied stickers to it: )br> Comfy, if a tad heavy after a long ride, but that is to be expected. br> I really like the back light because it plugs in instead of using batteries, it's bigger than most I've seen, it's built in so it won't fall off, and it has a lot of different modes to choose from. br> The googles are magnetic and snap into place; I haven't had them fall off yet, and they're simple enough to do one-handed and while riding if necessary. AND THEY DON'T MESS WITH MY GLASSES ON THE UPPER SETTING, but are a little snug on the lower. br> chin strap is fine; I leave it loosebr> back reflective strip worksbr> love how it sits on top of your head like a hat rather than a bowl like some others.

Plus, there's one extra bonus that's extremely instructive. br>br>I originally ordered one of these after owning a KingBike model similar to this for the previous two years. I received my order quickly, but one of the interior helmet straps was damaged. I contacted the seller, who was extremely responsive, accommodating, and seemed genuinely concerned about the problem I was having. The Seller requested photos of the helmet, which I promptly provided, and I was pleasantly surprised to learn that a replacement was on the way the next day. I can't say enough good things about the Seller and their response, especially given how well this situation was handled, as I've only had to replace or return a few items on Amazon after many successful transactions. Still, it's reassuring to be treated with such professionalism, promptness, and, whether feigned or not, a genuine sense of concern on my behalf. My hat is off to them, and I appreciate all of their help with something that I'm sure no one wants to deal with. br>br>Now, let's talk about the helmet. I prefer this helmet to my old KingBike model because of a few features. 1. br>br> There are two positions for the wind shield. The higher setting is higher than the chin, while the lower setting is closer to the chin. This is crucial for me because I ride an electric bike and need as much wind deflection as possible when riding at higher speeds. When I'm zipping around at 20 mph, I use the lower setting exclusively, and when I'm just enjoying the scenery, I use the higher setting. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br When not in use, my KingBike's snap/buckle connectors couldn't be reversed up over the helmet. This model features magnetic attachments that are very slick and allow you to reverse and sweep back over the top/front of the helmet when not in use. So, figuring out where to put your visor and how to stow it without scratching it against something in or out of your saddlebag is no longer an option. issue. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. For me, the most significant benefit, and a critical selling point, is. Various tinted visors are available for purchase as spares. I ride my bike seven days a week, five of which are to and from work. During my daily jaunts over the alternating solstices, I ride in both bright sunlight (Phoenix) and near-complete darkness. Because it's nearly blinding in the summer, I use the darkest tint available. I wear the clear visor on normal days with good visibility. But the true beauty is for those three months in the mornings when I ride in almost total darkness or very dim light. The yellow visor improves your visibility so much that it's ridiculous! I ride with a slew of bike lights, which I'm sure gives me the appearance of a UFO stumbling through the void, but even with just a clear visor, you can get into trouble. This is not the case with these yellow visors. They boost the clarity and definition of your surroundings to the point where it almost feels alien. worldly. Visually, this tint is very cool, and it does a good job of making you appreciate the added safety it provides. I purchased two pairs of each color. This is due to the fact that I invested a whopping 7,000 - I ride my bike for 8,000 miles a year and come across a variety of flying objects on my journeys. Scratching is bound to happen at some point along your line of sight. My old KingBike only had one visor option, and replacements were impossible to come by because the buckle versions had been phased out. 4. br>br> Last but not least, there's a neat little light on the back of this helmet. This is a feature I wish my old KingBike had. This rear light has a variety of flash/strobe settings and can be charged via USB (which I prefer over battery power). As a city commuter on and off bike paths/trails, you can never have enough lights, in my opinion. So, in my opinion, it's a huge plus.

A back- To keep you safe at night, set up a warning light. No more forgetting to charge your warning light or being without a backup because you forgot your ride glasses. PRO: br>br>PRO: br>br>PRO: PRO: PRO: PRO: PRO: PRO br>Looks great in photos online, and the concept is fantastic - Remove the need for a second pair of cycling glasses, and add a nighttime safety light. Padding is good, and there is a strap to adjust the fit. Included is an additional safety light! br>br>CON: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, this is not the place br>Inadequate fit - disproportionately round and not oval-shaped- as if it were a normal head (my head measures 22 5/8"). The forehead is too tight, but the sides are too loose. Some wind is blocked by the visor, but the rest is funneled right into your eyes! However, you are unable to wipe them because the visor is blocking your path. Sharp burrs on the visor must be clipped and sanded before it can be used. If you collide with something, the visor's sharp bottom will almost certainly lacerate your face. OVERALL: br>br> br>If the helmet fit properly, I'd accept the low utility visor, or if the visor blocked the wind, I'd accept the slightly odd helmet fit. Without some significant changes, I am unable to recommend this product as it is.
