It is rated the "best" chain for all types of riding conditions by so many reviews I have read. There is nothing more wrong with this than that. Squeaky locks are great for pivot points or mounts, but for the chain in dry conditions, it will absorb so much dirt on the side of the chain that it will be dirty goop in no time. The dirt will also splatter all over your frame as well. I recently switched from using a liquid lube to using dry lube, and I have seen much better results. The best thing to use for your bike chain is this if you ride in wet conditions, although it's not the best for riding in dry conditions.

The product works effectively for the restoration of vintage sewing machines, I've used it more than any other oil because it restores stuck machines with less effort than any other oil. Not only me, but many others find it enticing as well. As far as sewing machine restoration goes, this is the industry standard. In a larger bottle, it would make more sense if the bottom came out like the top on many other small oil bottles, so you wouldn't have to keep sticking it inside the tape for storage, and then removing it to put it in the tip.
