Questions & Answers

Would a dry or a wet lube make a better impression?

Your question is very good! If you are working in a drier environment where dirt is more likely to stick to the chain, you'll benefit from dry lube. The purpose of wet lube is to extend the time that the chain sticks to the chain in wet environments, where splashing water or mud may affect the chain.

A decision between 4 and 8 ounces needs to be made. Can you tell me how long they last?

A four ounce bottle of beer is available for me. The pivot point should be used for pivot points only, not for chain links. The solution has coagulated after a few years, and it is difficult to apply any longer. When you are using it for the chain, and especially when you are using it for bike chains for multiple riders. First 8 oz., then 6 The situation ought to be okay.

The fluid is a light green color, right? In addition to the white case, I purchased the cleaning kit, which includes the same lube (although in half the size), but ?

I bought 2 at 6 months intervals, the first one remained white even after vigorous shaking, and the second one was clear. It is not as effective as the second option (translucent). In fact, I almost suspect that the clear ones may have a faulty

Would I be able to use this while riding ?

On my way to and from work, I use a motorized bicycle with a chain that has a 415 link. The average person walks 20 miles a day or more each week. The chain on my truck has over 5000 miles on it using this product. I reapply it every month after stripping it from the truck. It seems that a couple drops every now and then. That's all I have for you. Please accept my best regards, Dwayne

The best lube on the market for road In order to lubricate my road bike chain, I tried 4 different products
4/5

Almost all of my riding is done in It is the Maxima Spray Chain Wax that I have used. For me, the program did not work. The Rock & Roll game has also been interesting to me ProGold ProLink, Finish Line Dry Lube, and Roll Gold.
Except for the chain oil, these three products may be used to lubricate Added rock & roll to the mix It is important to use a lot of Roll Gold product to saturate the chain and make it more vibrant. To remove dirt, flush the system with water I love grime and rock n' roll It's messy to roll gold, and it takes a lot of gold to get it done. As the dry lube nears the end of its shelf life, Finish Line Dry Lube is leaving behind what seems to be a white clump, which I think is PTFE. The chain appears to be getting a lot of road grime stuck to it, although it seems to lubricate adequately. Compared to the other two, ProGold ProLink seems to appear to leave the chain the cleanest over time as you only apply one drop per link. Thus, it is less messy than While all of these products claim to be dry lubes, they tend to attract quite a bit of road grime, so you have to reapply more often than one would like. I tend to think ProGold ProLink would be better at not attracting as much road dirt.

It works fine as long as you wipe excess off the chain after application
5/5

Since I have no experience with this, I have no expertise on the subject. As far as I can tell, it works, but I would like to forewarn you of something that I didn't become aware of until I was in a more senior position I have been biking long distances for five years now You should use a lint-free cloth to wipe the product off after application A free cloth can be used to wipe off excess liquid. Extra chain oil won't help with what it is intended to do and will just attract and hold dust and dirt, which will damage your chain and cogs. This information would have been helpful to me if I had known it My best guess is that the bike salesman me told that, but when it comes to making a new purchase, the first purchase is often filled with As I would have read it in reviews when I bought some, now I see it here!.

The spraying of aresol stops when the can is closed
3/5

I have been using this product for a week now, and I like how it goes on and how it helps lubricate In June, I bought a can of the top-rated product and used it frequently. I cycle several hundred miles a week, so I don't mind spending more for a top-rated product. I suppose that may be the case, however, when about half the can was empty (end of September), the can ceased to spray. What do you think happened? It seemed clogged somehow? After ordering another can in early October and using it only once or twice on four different bike chains, I only used it for two weeks. I had the same experience today (Oct 17) as well! There is almost no spray from the can, despite feeling almost full. Even after removing the red straw from both cans, neither is spraying? I was using the little red straw attachment on both cans. The return of the second can was handled very well by Amazon and they refunded the Despite the fact that I love this product, the aerosol cans don't work after a while, so I wasted more than half of my order. suppose I will switch to a wet lubricant now? I was once again refunded right away and Amazon apologized for any I don't really understand why I have had so many issues with two consecutive cans when most reviews seem to be very positive?.

Lubricant of choice for me now
5/5

There is nothing better than this stuff. This has been my cycling kit for a couple of years now, and I've only started to realize how valuable it is until I used it in another setting. The rails on top of the roller glide of a Precor Elliptical Trainer I purchased for my wife had to be cleaned. As a result, the TV and music were so loud that it was impossible to hear them. Nothing I tried lasted more than a couple minutes before being squeegeed away with the rubber wheels. I tried car wax, WD40, silicone, lithium grease, etc. In the process of tuning my bike, I thought I would give it a go. It's been over 6 months and there has not been a single you can tell how well it lubricates by looking at this picture.

This chain lube has the perfect consistency for normal to dry climates, and does not attract dust or dirt
5/5

No dust and dirt will be attracted to our product as they are attracted to wet lubricants. The product can also be used for cables, derailleur pivot points, or anywhere else you need a light lube without having to use heavy oils. WD40 or motor oil should not be used on bicycle.

The best way to deal with dust from California
5/5

Those who live in dusty environments, such as in California, have no choice but to use this model. It is the bike that I use on my downhill bike at Northstar and on my trail bike on the trails during all four *****IT IS CONSIDERED VERY IMPORTANT THAT THE CHAIN BE CLEANED FIRST AFTER PLACING IT IN THE MACHINE, using a chain cleaner such as Filzer's Chain Cleaner tool. Let the chain soak in water for a few minutes. Once it's dried, let it sit out in the sun for a few hours, and then lube generously with the Prior to riding, allow it to dry for an hour. It is a good idea to rinse off the drive train and chain after each ride. With this lube, you will find the dust just washes off with no residue like with other chain oil. Apply the product again after you have rinsed and dried. To keep my bikes running as smooth as possible in the CA dust, I do this.

A cap on this may have been manufactured incorrectly
3/5

The device has only been used My issue is that I am no longer able to open it. There are no complicated instructions on this cap. There is no way to open it. It is wonderful to see such great reviews Rather than getting a faulty cap by chance, I am not sure if I just got one that had A quick update Now that I've had the time, I'm trying to fix the cap issues. A side-cutting plier was used to remove the red cap. The uploaded picture can be seen here. The manufacturer of the bottles should be able to fix this issue. I cannot use that quality of plastic for the red cap part because it is too soft and simply not the right type.

A lot of great stuff, particularly for mountain bikes
5/5

I have used this stuff for years and would recommend it. This stuff is great, especially for mountain bikes because it works well even with dirty parts. The nozzle has gone bad before I finished the bottle in the past, and I had to work hard to fill the bottle up again. It is possible to design the bottle better (maybe there is not enough aerosol)? In exchange for the fact that I would not use anything else on my bike, I give this product 5 stars since it is.
