It's a 20oz can that stands about 9" tall and has a diameter of 2".
Citrus Degreaser is ideal for cleaning shifter cables and components, and it's strong enough to be diluted for lighter jobs like these. Thank you for your time,br>Finish Line
Yes, but the red push-down nozzle keeps falling off, making it difficult to spray on the chain and making things a little messy.
Perhaps a scent of orange, lemon, and lime? citrusy. There's no way this smells like hydro carbon.

While working with degreaser in a poor can makes it easy to use and waste too much, I can't say enough about this product's deep cleaning power; citrus is essential to me for deep cleaning my bicycle chains, and it works like magic. However, I believe that diluting it gradually rather than in one pass and then rinsing it works best. I like to fill the chain pig with degreaser, use it until the degreaser is thoroughly fouled and depleted from the reservoir, and then replace the degreaser with water. It's potent enough to work even when diluted, according to the can, and I've found that this results in a cleaner chain.
I gave a couple of them a shot. I can't rely on anything else, even if it hurts my wallet a little. br>br>I WISH THEY COULD MAKE IT IN A LARGER SIZE - do they? br>br>I use this for cleaning power tools (you know what I'm talking about - They're a lovely pair (that plastic thing with the little gear bristles). I'm a bike snob, so I'm sure I'll continue to buy this until it's no longer available.
I'm not sure if it's better than any other citrus degreaser that might be cheaper, but it does the job and does it better than I expected. The obvious application is in Finish Line's chain cleaner, but I also used a small amount on a rag to clean some other components that had accumulated some grime after a summer of riding. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly and thoroughly everything was cleaned. I guess I was expecting a watered-down product that would be more "friendly" to bike parts in the event that someone used too much and degreased things that should have stayed greased. Not so. It's a great degreaser with a lot of power. When working with greased bike parts (idler gears, bearings, etc. ), use caution. Otherwise, you can count on it to do a good job of cleaning up.
When I first started cycling, I bought my first can of this. I put it in my chain enclosure and pedaled a couple of times while changing gears. It cleans quickly and has a pleasant fragrance. If the cap falls off, a rubber stopper will prevent the liquid and scent from escaping. Right now, I'm about to purchase my second can of it.
This will quickly clean the chain and cassette. Keep the used degreaser in a jar and let it settle; the muck will settle to the bottom, leaving only the clear solvent. br>br>I never use diluted versions of this. Before re-attaching it to your chain, make sure to thoroughly remove it with soap and water. Any degreaser used to lubricate the rollers will prevent the lubricant from adhering to them.
This was the best gravel bicycle purchase I could have made. It restores the factory-like condition of my bike's gears and chain. There are no toxic fumes, and I can use this product in my garage with the garage door closed. It cleans perfectly even though I don't have any fancy tools. If you give it a try, you'll be glad you made the investment in a smoother ride.
I recently returned to biking, but my bike needed some serious TLC after two years of sitting in a garage. My chain is like new again, with the exception of some surface rust. The 'before' picture shows it after I tried cleaning with rags; the picture may not show it well, but it was still full of gunk, especially inside the links, which are difficult to clean by hand; I used two rounds of this degreaser in the Finish Line chain cleaning tool, which did the trick in less than five minutes! This set is a must-have if you have a filthy chain that needs to be cleaned thoroughly.
My ‘go- 'Degreaser' is a term that refers to a product that removes grease Although it may appear that you don't get much, most jobs allow for significant diluting of benefits.
