Questions & Answers

purpose of this lube? There is already a dry and a wet one, but what is this one for?

It is said that ceramic is a superior lubricant, but I have no idea what the science behind it is. Previous to this product, I was using a wax based lubricant and was quite happy with its

Besides oil, why does this lubricant have other applications? When it comes to bearings, how does it perform? Why do motorcycle chains exist? Are there any other matters?

is an extremely thin lubricant primarily intended for pedal bikes, particularly those with chains.

Will it work as a bearing for rollerblades?

The chain on my bike is cleaned with this product. Whenever I use machine oil/sewing machine oil for bearings, I like to use regular machine Compared to the old design, it seems a little more flexible and the bearings move more freely with it. The opinions expressed here are my own.

Will it work as a bearing for rollerblades?

I definitely agree! You will be able to extend the life of your bearings by using the Finish Line Ceramic Wet Lube. Please note THIS STUFF IS AVAILABLE FOR PERSONAL, HOUSEHOLD, AND COMMERCIAL USE.

Use a good chain lubricant
5/5

When I was a kid, I used those overpriced Muc-ups for a long time In order to try something else, I decided to buy this Finish line Ceramic chain lube and to be honest, I think it is a lot better than what I purchased before.
Even when it is raining, it remains attached to the chain/gears. In addition, Muc is It is much easier to clean the Finish line with any degreasing product, as opposed to the Off, which gets stuck in the drivetrain.
I also use the FL WAX CERAMIC, which is even better to use when it is dry.

Happiness is the best feeling in the world
5/5

There is a lot of value in this stuff. There is little practical difference between wet chain lubes, to be honest. Despite all my experiences, every product has prevented squeaking and rusting. However, one property does seem to vary from product to product, and that is the Your chain drips if it is too thin. There is too much thickness, and it does not "sink" into the links. A feature of Finish Line's product that stands out is this. is exactly where you want it to be. A nice blend that soaks in easily and does not dribble I always enjoy the look of my chains after a simple wash, lube, and wipe. I definitely would buy from this merchant I give this product 5 stars based on the following,

*** My Rating Criteria***
Exactly as described, good value, ships in retail packaging
4 STARS The product works exactly as described, the fit and finish are the standard for this type of product, and it ships in retail packaging. The product works as described, the fit and finish are to be expected with such a product, but may have a minor flaw or ship in an undisclosed non-standard packaging The following packages are rated 3 stars by the customer The general functionality is great, but I would change a few things OR The product works well, but the graphics are different than what is pictured/described* 2 The tool barely works, but if you work with it for a while, you can make it useful. 1 A waste of money, does not perform its intended function in any way, and is useless.

I have tried a few and this is the best
5/5

Cycling has been my main hobby for years, and I have tried many different lubricants. Then read on! There is no doubt in my mind that this is my favorite. There is a sticky film formed after it dries that lasts much longer than any other lube I have used. I suppose it picks up some dirt and dust, but I have never had a lube that had that problem. Then read on! It is possible for an oily wet lube to absorb dirt if it is wet enough to work. leave an accumulation of waxy crud on everything and do not seem to lubricate sufficiently. Then read on! It's slightly tacky, so it doesn't seem to be as messy as either an oily wet lube or a dry lube that sticks to everything. But it lasts an excruciatingly long time. Then read on! It is possible for me to clean the side plates, outer surfaces, and well lubricated inside surfaces of a chain several times while the outside surfaces remain A thing to note about this lube is that it needs to dry in order for it to perform at its best. My technique is to apply it, let it sit for a few minutes, then head out on the bike. Any excess fluid from the carrier fluid is lightly wiped off the chain after it evaporates. Then read on! The excess oil is wiped off after I am done riding if I must apply it right before a ride. Then read on! The lube becomes sticky when it becomes dry since it changes from being watery to being a Then read on! Cleans off excess lube, which helps minimize dirt buildup while still maintaining lubrication that is very effective, and long lasting. The lube I am using is the first one I have tried. Then read on! Finish Line Ceramics really stood out as superior and are now the only thing that I buy any longer.

Wet conditions are no problem for this hose
4/5

In spite of experimenting with various brands and types of chain lube, I am sticking with this one for my mountain bike, since it maintains good lubrication in wet and muddy conditions common to western North Carolina's mountains. I can now shift smoothly after hours in mud and rain to the side of a stream and multiple stream crossings. The performance of this material initially seems good, but after a few applications, as it bonds with the chain, it is enhanced When this process is complete you will see the chain looking dirty and ugly When you clean this chain and re-install it, the chain will start turning black, but returns to its original appearance after a few cleanings There are many uses for this lubricant. This stuff has its uses, but it's not perfect for everything -- I love it for mountain biking in wet conditions. Dust will stick to the outside of the chain during dry conditions, but on wet days it can be rinsed or wiped off easily on a rag (and on Taking my road bike off a road I used to use with a different tube, I changed it because it attracts so much dirt and grime.

This is a decent product
5/5

Considering I am in no way an expert on lubes, I thought this one was good. There's no problem with it flowing through chains and penetrating them. The chain was cleaned of the dry lube from my previous application, and I had to add a bit more lube on my first attempt. Each chain link should be treated with a drop of oil. They also mention one more method on the websites of the lube companies As it rotates, it squirts the fluid on to the chain. The coating method should not be used, as everything will be coated The chain does get dirtier than my derailleur, but I only have to clean and reinstall.

I noticed that my chain gets dirty more, but I can just clean and reinstall it. About every 200 miles, it needs to be lubricated. About a week to a week and a half is how long it takes me to cover this distance. It is highly recommended that you cycle for a few days after purchasing the lube, since the chain will become black after This lube is easily removed with a simple orange degreaser. The blackness is just due to the lube itself and is not a result of dirt. My brake cables also look great now that I lubricated the housing the lubricant does a great job on.

I am in awe
5/5

It has been about two years since I first rode my bike to an Amazon facility in Coppell, TX. I keep my bike outside because the pedal just broke, and the cables are rusty. The wheels wobble, as well. Apparently Adam Sandler has a piece of sh!t. I have a There is something I want to tell you! It made a real difference when I put some of this on it, and when I thought it was all over I took it off. Let me be clear I need a new bike (I'm poor), but I found that this stuff was very useful.
