No matter how hard I tighten the lock on my bicycle, it won't stay up. br>And that piece of Velcro that's supposed to keep the cable attached to the bike is a major flaw in the design. br>I drilled it into my frame so that I could use it to secure the D lock, but the bracket keeps slipping. br>Perhaps I'll have to do that as well. br>As a result, I now have the cable and the lock in my backpack, which is exactly what I was hoping to avoid. br>Can you tell me why I haven't returned it? br>To be honest, I think it's a great lock; it looks like a deterrent to a bike thief, and I have enough room in my backpack to carry it. br>I give it a high rating for the item, but I give it a one for the bracket and Velcro systems.

The mounting bracket for the lock and a velcro strap for the cable are included in this kit. It was extremely effective! This one appealed to me because of the 16mm thickness on the U and the best price. I didn't mind leaving my bike alone. I had a few questions about where to mount the clamp on my bike, and customer service responded quickly with a photo of my bike and notes on where to mount it and where not to. This purchase has made me very happy!.

Our bicycles are not being stolen. The best customer service I've ever experienced! We couldn't decide where these should go on our bikes. I snapped a photo of our bikes and emailed a request for assistance. I received an email almost immediately from the owner, who took the time to look at my photo and then detailed instructions on how to install the U lock. She also expressed her strong desire for it to succeed. And if it didn't, she'd be happy to give us a refund. I'm ecstatic to report that her suggestion was successful. This U lock is a dependable piece of equipment. Nobody is stealing our bikes, so I'm not concerned. I took my bike out for a spin and found it to be very unobtrusive.
