We removed large limbs that were 4 inches in diameter and above While it is hard work, we succeeded in our goal. The diameter of the limbs that were cut was 4, 6, 8 and 14 inches. When working on larger limbs, it is important to be cautious and work slowly. Adding extra and stronger rope for higher and longer limbs is necessary. Using this product saved us money because we did not need to hire professionals to cut off As well as cutting limbs that are 30 to 40 feet from the ground, we cleared trees.
Branches 30 feet above the pool were cut down with this tool. I recommend it as a good buy that works well with very little effort. I would highly recommend this product.
Good, reliable product that arrived on time and did what it was supposed to do. To attach the chain to the ropes, the clips need to have a bit more durability.
Cutting large branches and placing rope in large trees is very safe with two people, but you do need to be patient with cutting large branches. It's well worth the extra money to buy a chain saw blade with sharp teeth on both sides! Saving hundreds of dollars by cutting off dead 25' branches off a 52' tree was well worth it.
Rope saws like this one are brilliant inventions. It was the first time I had seen one or used one before, so I didn't know what to expect. In the end, I came face-to-face with a 55' Oak Tree while standing on the ground. As I was preparing for my application, I knew I would need extra ropes. It is one who lowers the limb being cut to the ground and supports it. Additionally, one rope that is twice as long as the ropes provided by the rental company are too short for my needs, but they were very useful for me. I was amazed to find that the rope saw cut so well as soon as all the ropes and the rope saw were in place. The diameter of the 9 limbs I cut ranging from 4" to 12" varied from the top of a 55' Laurel Oak. There were times when it was necessary to take a break to rest. This is a very well designed and well built product. There has been just one tree cut down and it is ready for another tree and I haven't sharpened it yet. I am pleased with the product.
The device facilitated the cutting of a large dead branch that hung over my head about 30 feet. It was not long enough for the rope provided, so I used another rope I had purchased previously. After passing the chain over the branch, it was pretty straight forward to use, but taking it over was a bit frustrating. I only had trouble once the beach started to break, and the chain got stuck and I couldn't open it. It was fortunate I was able to pull this branch down with the help of another rope that I had attached to it. I would have been in a tough spot had I not In the case of lower branches, the rope and handles provided should work great and shouldn't have the same issue with branches 30 feet above the ground.
Since I am growing up, I am moving a little slower than I was, so I wasn't certain if this would work out. I have never used one before when it comes to gear, but I have some high quality stuff, so whatever happens, I will use it. This chain cuts wood very well, and it is very strong. Working with two people is easier as one will tend to pinch and grab the chain when working alone. It is a good rope, although I would like it if it were One of the "d" rings is bent and the other does not like to close. Finding a replacement that will fit and is a bit stronger would be ideal. In any case, I still recommend the whole package because it has done the job I bought it for already, and I need the replacement ring for the next one. In summation, I gave it five stars for the parts where it exceeded my expectations since I am not able to subtract a half Instead of renting a cherry picker, I invested the $ saved in two cherry pickers.
I was able to work it free and finish cutting the branch after it got pinched in the first limb. However, I was not so lucky on the second limb, which became permanently pinched, resulting in the saw being rendered After I purchased this bucket, I still had to use my extension ladder and chainsaw to make the last cuts, which was what I was hoping to avoid by purchasing this bucket. Using chainsaws to cut high limbs by yourself may result in limbs sagging and causing the chain to bind. is definitely much more effective to stand far apart between two people in order to avoid chain pinches. Additionally, the rope that comes with it is really short and will not work well with high limbs, so you'll need to buy a When you need to wrap the rope around a higher part of your body, you can use a slingshot if you have fishing line and weight, but you may need a fishing rod if the rope is longer.
