The picture of the carrying case showed a leather carrying case inside, but when I received it, I found it was just a plain A leather bag is not a leather bag.
A leather sheath is included with the saw, and the pair together weigh 1 lb. 5 oz. The weight on my scale was 6 oz.

In the description, it is specifically stated that a leather sheath is included. This is not the case. A thin sheath made of nylon camouflage accompanied this item. A noisy environment does not make hunting possible. In the field, it won't last. I'm not sure if we should redouble our efforts No matter whether ordering is worth trying, you should at least give it a try. What will they use in the box? Are they just going to throw any Wyoming Saw in it?.
With the dead trees in the yard following hurricane Irma, this came through without a hitch. It came through 4+ inches of trees with no problem.
This is a great gift for my husband for Christmas, as it is easy to assemble, yet it also breaks down easily and is very high I found it impossible to find a bone saw made entirely of metal that would last.
The problem is not with the handle in aluminum. Steel that is heavy and cheap. Additionally, they crossed out "made in china" with a sharpie. That's a big problem.

It appears the case is NOT leather or made in the USA, as the Amazon description claims. However, the saw appears to be good quality, and it was delivered quickly. Since I expected a leather case from an American company, I was very unhappy with the cheap Chinese nylon case that came with the saw.
This knife weighs no weight, but it is sturdy in your hand. My friends and I each have one, and between the 3 of us we have killed 3 elk and several You can count on this tool to never let you down!.
