There is no carrier or sheath.
According to my own, admittedly inexperienced estimation, the rubber is strong, rigid, and heavy. I'd imagine that hurling it at someone would result in some negative consequences. Minor bumps, bruises, and/or shallow cuts are to be expected; it all depends on how rough you like your airsoft.
Overall, it's about 15 inches long. It's primarily used in a Krav Maga technique that deals with axe attacks. It is possible to operate with two hands, but it is not as practical.
If you mean throwing a ball to a wooden surface as if it were a sport, what exactly do you mean? Because it's made of hard rubber, the answer is no. br>However, a safer tool that simulates a real weapon can be used to practice self-defense.

According to other reviews, these were used for skill practice. Well, I gave it to my son because he was constantly breaking cheap wooden swords. He can't whack, chop, or practice his "skills" with this thing because it's a monster. Yes, this is probably unsuitable for parents who strictly adhere to toy age labels. This is, however, for parents who are sick of wasting money on toys that break all the time. The "blade" is made of a hard rubber that flexes slightly. If you are hit by this, you will most likely not break any skin, but you will most likely bruise as a result of the weight of the object. If you have two wild children fighting it out, the pointed end could be dangerous, but if they only use their energy on trees and other objects, they'll be fine. The rubber blade is inserted between the hands and secured with a nut and bolt that won't come loose and will be difficult to break. The plastic handle is also tough, and it will take a lot of abuse to break it.
My 8- year- This was something that the old wished for. When he's swinging it around, I get a little worried, but DAMN, this thing is legit. It's made up of two solid pieces of stiff, heavy rubber with a blade bolted to the handle. Whatever happens, this device is prepared. My son claims he'll keep it next to his bed and use it to ward off any night-time intruders. intruders from the past, present, and future I feel sorry for the intruder.
For my three-year-old daughter's birthday, I bought this and a tea set as a joke. The ax turns out to be a little more difficult to wield than I had anticipated. I'm afraid I won't be able to hand it over to my child. So I guess I'll have some fun with it. It's a lot of fun.
It's of excellent quality and is ideal for use in training. However, this isn't soft rubber, so expect some bruising and impact. Nonetheless, I'm quite pleased with it.
This is the axe for you if you like to cosplay and need one. If you're a martial artist interested in learning more about self-defense, you've come to the right place. If you're looking for defense training tools, this is a tough axe that will bruise you if you use it a lot. If you're looking for an axe that's good for sparring, this is a good tool, just like wooden swords.
The blade is a little bendy, but not nearly enough to protect you from any blows. It has the potential to cause large welts. So, if you're giving it to four rowdy 12-year-olds, proceed with caution. Overall, a good product, but the spike on the back of the axe should be avoided.
It's made of solid rubber and is quite heavy. I was able to spray paint mine silver/brown and add leather lacing to make it look more authentic for the costume.
These are incredible. They have a very realistic appearance and feel to them. Plastic of exceptional quality, thick and heavy.
