It's the right size for my Omega Pacific, which is a size 2. My Black Diamond is much smaller than the 25" wide adze.
They do protect three different points on the axe, in fact. There is double protection for the top of the axe, where the adze and pick are located, and for the bottom of the axe, where the spike is located.

It's a perfect fit for my axe, and there's plenty of room to grow if I want to get a bigger one. It prevents me from snagging or scratching myself. This is something I strongly advise all axe owners to do.
It's a low-cost way to protect your tip while also ensuring that it doesn't harm your pack or car. I use it as a hand leash while climbing to keep the axe from falling out of my grip. The shock cord keeps everything in place. It's highly suggested!.
This was purchased to go with my Petzl Summit 2 backpack. There are no issues with fit. The adze cover is a little wider than the Petzl adze, but it still does the job.
Fits perfectly, appears to be in good working order, and will protect my pack and jacket until I require the axe. I'd suggest it.
It's a perfect match for my Black Diamond Ice Axe and makes carrying it in the mountains much safer.
It appears to be more durable than the previous rubber version.
My Grivel 48cm Air Tech Evolution was a perfect fit for this.
