The rope halter is very nice, but it isn't as soft as I had hoped. I used to have a different soft yacht rope halter that I bought online (can't remember where) and it's super soft - It's the softest thing I've ever seen. That's what I was hoping for with this one. My horse prefers the lightweight material on his face to anything else, so I prefer the rope halter. I don't need any knots or stiffness for control, so complete buttery softness is what I'm looking for. Apart from the fact that it's a little tougher than I'd hoped for, it looks fantastic! The color is vibrant, and the knots are close together.
The following was included in the description: "The majority of standard-sized horses will fit into standard-sized halters. " I also went to the Knotty Girlz website, which had information on halter sizing. For my quarter horse, I bought the standard size, but it's way too big. I then ordered a small halter size, which fits perfectly, and I was able to return the standard size.
The feel is fantastic, the knots are nice and tight, and the overall construction is excellent. These aren't as stiff as some of the other brands, but I prefer them because they give the rope a more 'alive' feel. I've had one that I've been using on a daily basis for leading, riding, and training, and it's still going strong after three years. It appears to be in excellent condition. I had to get another because I adore it so much!.
Since a few years, all of my horses have worn Knotty Girlz halters. The only thing I think everyone should know is that this halter is made of very soft Polyester Yacht Rope. They used to use a stiff cord halter rope, but now they don't. Both of these halters are fantastic, and I strongly recommend them. Because I am certain I will purchase them again.
I really like how this halter's material is both soft and strong. My Tennessee Walker and Arabian mare, my two largest horses, both fit comfortably in the standard size. I'm not going back to buckled halters made of traditional webbing. This is fantastic!.
My Parelli halter sets are amazing, but let's be honest, I got them on sale for half the price. These are EXCELLENT quality and 100% comparable to Parelli, Anderson and anderson and anderson and anderson and anderson and anderson and anderson and 100% Halter sets for the colder months! I was ecstatic to try these because of the beautiful color!.
These are a little more expensive than I usually pay for rope halters, but I like the quality and color options. Halters for miniature horses are difficult to come by. I've bought two halters from Knotty Girlz. They last a long time and are the perfect weight for my miniature horses.
I will be purchasing more in the future because of the vibrant red color and the fact that it is truly soft and pliable while still being built to last.
