Questions & Answers
For horses, this would be an inadequate halter.
It is suitable for cows of all sizes. Adjustable in every way. The loops over the ears and nose can be made as big or as small as you want. I've tried it on both newborn calves and bulls. They simply need to remain calm in order to make the necessary adjustments.

We bought two of these to help our heifers get used to wearing halters. They've held up exceptionally well to being pulled on and tied. I would strongly advise anyone interested in purchasing these. When they give in and stand quietly, the metal clip through which the rope runs aids in a quicker release of pressure.
I've always led my dairy heifers with these poly rope halters. This one's metal hardware piqued my interest, and I was eager to give it a go. It's poorly made, and the right piece connecting the noseband digs into the heifer's face on a regular basis. I thought it might be a defect, so I bought another one, but the second halter has the same issue. This company and its products are my favorites, but this one isn't.
It's a little perplexing. In the Youtube video I watched, it appeared to be very simple. I got it on two of our heifers perfectly the first two days. The third day- I'm sure it was a mistake on the part of the user. I couldn't seem to get it right on them. Both heifers were used to wearing horse halters, so all they needed was a lead rope and those. I'm going to stick with that because it's what we're used to. Maybe next calves, I'll give these another shot.
Simply put, they have the best products on the market. It's no different with this breaking halter. We like the idea of the loop allowing the calf to relax and have some slack. These halters are given to each of our show animals!.
It's a breeze to use and extremely durable. The cow's face is moved around a lot, but it gets the cow from point A to point B. It's just a matter of being cautious and aware of where the rope is on their face when using it.
This is a good breaking halter, in my opinion. What I didn't anticipate was the metal clasp breaking four days after Amazon's return deadline. br>br>Recently updated: There were two new ones installed in its place. Since then, both have been used without incident.
Rope ends that had melted in the wrong direction. Heffer is irritated by it.
It's a no-no!.
