Hello, was the snap on the lead not attached when you got it? They may be able to work themselves out of a job while being transported. We hitch our snaps on so you can remove them easily; all you have to do is thread the loop of the lead through the eye of the snap and fold it over. Do you understand what I mean?
Leah
We will receive a matching lead in the near future, but it is currently on backorder. br>Best wishes, Leah br>

I bought the first lead rope for myself because I've worked with horses since I was a little girl, and I'm still working with colts 30 years later. This lead rope is perfect because it's not too heavy, but it's heavy enough to get the horse to move the way I need it to, and if another horse gets in the way while working in the field with four yearling horses, I can use it like a whip if they try to crowd me, the sound makes them react and back up This rope is excellent for ground work in general. The Clint Anderson and Pat Parelli memorabilia is a waste of money; you don't need anything more expensive when this will suffice. Purchase now, while the price is still low. I work 1 colt, 3 yearlings, and 4 mares for 6 hours a day, which makes training a breeze. I recently purchased a second set for a friend who is just getting started, and her colt is much more responsive. I'm going to order some more, and the thin training halter is also fantastic.
I needed a lead rope long enough to double as reins, attach to a rope halter, and give my horse enough slack to allow him to touch his nose to the ground when I wanted him to. This one (I ordered the 14-foot version) was almost exactly the length I needed. The rope has a nice weight to it, and I like how flexible it is. It has a lot of free movement, which is great for carrying over subtle cues, and I'm very pleased with it.
It's solid and comfortable to hold. The only reason it isn't a 5 is because I've only had it for 4 to 6 months and haven't had the opportunity to see how well it ages. Despite the fact that I am confident in its success: )br>br>additional information: )br>br> This is a good match for Pat Parelli ropes if you don't want to pay the price.
This leadrope appears to be the same as the ones sold by well-known clinicians (and which I also own). You're not going to be let down. This is what I ordered because they had a larger selection of colors.
The buckle is very sturdy, but it doesn't feel like you're wearing a weight at the end of your rope. br>I was also surprised by how soft the lead is, and how it doesn't feel like you're going to get rope burn even when bumping or letting the rope slide through your hand!.
The lead rope is of excellent quality. It has a good amount of weight to it as well. And the purple color is stunning, just like in the photos! That isn't always the case when purchasing items, so I wanted to call attention to the listing's color accuracy. If I need another lead rope, I will almost certainly purchase another from this manufacturer.
This lead rope appeals to me quite a bit. I thought it was a little pricey at first, but now that I've used it, I believe it was well worth the money. If you wiggle the end of the rope where your hand is, the movement carries nicely through the rope and applies the same pressure to the horse. The rope's thickness and weight on the end make it ideal for swinging. I'm not sure how I feel about the chain connecting the clip and the rope. On the one hand, it looks nice, but I don't like the chain/rope connector slamming into my horse's head when he shakes his head.
The thickness feels great in my hands during training, and I'm sure the lack of hardware makes it easier on my horse's chin! The color is a vibrant blue that is stunning. The length is ideal for groundwork training, and it's a little heavier than a standard poly horse rope, so you can use it to gently request moves from your horse. Big fan! I'm going to get some more.
